Too excited to wait, i found the pictures of the LHC in Geneva under construction, it was 2004 and 2005.
it was unbelievable.
I few details about it.
Cit. from Wikipedia
It was built by the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN) between 1998 and 2008 in collaboration with over 10,000 scientists and hundreds of universities and laboratories, as well as more than 100 countries.
It lies in a tunnel 27 kilometres (17 mi) in circumference and as deep as 175 metres (574 ft) beneath the France–Switzerland border near Geneva.
I remember that during my trip inside the tunnel, where the neutrino were shot, the scientist told me that they wanted to find the particle of God, they want to understand God better..
Moreover.. i remember she told me that there are several "nuclear reactor beneath the Collidron. It make sense if you think that the particle accelerator consumes nearly 200 megawatts of energy at peak times and uses 1.3 TWh of electricity per year.
It seems obviously to me that they were using their own nuclear energy. but suddenly this "story" disappeared and i cannot find a single detail ion the web about it. So i must have confuse the facts. By the way, what you see in the pictures is the "collidron while it was getting installed" in the ground.
literally, we drove (me and the scientist in charge to speak as a representative,) over 8 Km, that was not even half of the entire structures which runs for over 27 Km between Switzerland and France.
Actually another interesting detail: Russia is not part of the "confederation of nations" funding and controlling CERN.
Russia is actually banned fr any project related to C.E.R.N. Such a shame because they have excellent scientists.
Last detail, the tester was running while the pictures were taken. I was a bit scared...
