Hola amigos de #Hive, espero que todos estén bien, hoy vengo para unirme al reto #hivearoundtheworld donde nos invitan a compartir un poco del lugar donde vivimos y para el día de hoy toca hablar de algo que representa tu ciudad, y estuve pensando un poco para no poner algo muy obvio, porque si no saben yo vivo en Margarita, entonces se me ocurrió que algo que pudiese compartir es sobre la gastronomía de donde vivo, pero tampoco quería algo tan obvio como el pescado frito o una sopa de pargo, sino una comida que te puedes encontrar cualquier sitio de Margarita que son las cachapas.
Nada más en el municipio en el que yo vivo, en la avenida principal hay como ocho cachaperas donde las puedes comprar solas (viuda), con queso, con cochino, chorizo, morcilla y muchos acompañantes, y aunque la cachapa es una comida típica del llano, es un plato tradicional en todo el país, y en Margarita lo puedes encontrar casi que en todos lados, incluso en los restaurantes a orilla de playa. Es un plato digamos que tradicional.
Por ejemplo en la zona donde vivo hay tres lugares donde puedes comerlas y las puedes encontrar en diferentes formas, en un lugar las hacen con maíz tierno y esas son más suaves y en otros con maíz no tan tierno, y es una cachapa más firme y con un sabor diferente, esa es la que me gusta más a mí pero hay quienes la prefieren de maíz tierno.

Hello #Hive friends, I hope everyone is well, today I come to join the #hivearoundtheworld challenge where we are invited to share a little bit of the place where we live and for today it's time to talk about something that represents your city, and I was thinking a little bit to not put something too obvious, because if you don't know I live in Margarita, so I thought that something I could share is about the gastronomy of where I live, but I didn't want something as obvious as fried fish or snapper soup, but a food that you can find anywhere in Margarita, which are the cachapas.
Just in the municipality where I live, in the main avenue there are about eight cachapas where you can buy them alone (widow), with cheese, with pork, chorizo, blood sausage and many accompaniments, and although the cachapa is a typical food of the plain, it is a traditional dish throughout the country, and in Margarita you can find it almost everywhere, even in restaurants on the beach. It is a traditional dish.
For example in the area where I live there are three places where you can eat them and you can find them in different forms, in one place they make them with tender corn and those are softer and in others with not so tender corn, and it is a firmer cachapa and with a different flavor, that is the one I like the most but there are those who prefer it with tender corn.
