In my country, it is not common to find parks with such a wide diversity of ecosystems that include animals such as giraffes, perhaps because, ideally, these animals should be in the wild. However, some places today focus on offering them shelter and care in a safe environment.
So when I was told I could see giraffes at the Ecoparque in Buenos Aires, Argentina, I was thrilled! Just past the Memorius Trail, a view opens up to the area where the giraffes are located; from a respectful distance, you can enjoy their elegance without invading their space.
It was almost noon and the sun was very intense, so I stopped just for a few moments to capture some photos and videos, it was a brief but unforgettable moment, which will remain in my memory and my photographs.
En mi país no es tan común encontrar parques con una diversidad tan amplia de ecosistemas que incluyan animales como jirafas; quizás porque, idealmente, estos animales deberían estar en libertad. Sin embargo, algunos lugares hoy en día se enfocan en ofrecerles refugio y cuidados en un entorno seguro.
Por eso, cuando me dijeron que podía ver jirafas en el Ecoparque de Buenos Aires, Argentina, ¡me emocioné muchísimo! Justo al pasar el Sendero Memorius, se abre una vista hacia la zona donde se encuentran las jirafas; desde una distancia respetuosa, puedes disfrutar de su elegancia sin invadir su espacio.
Era casi mediodía y el sol estaba muy intenso, así que me detuve solo unos momentos para capturar algunas fotos y videos, fue un instante breve pero inolvidable, que quedará en mi memoria y mis fotografías.
