The Whisky Sour is one of my go-to cocktails. It's relatively easy to make and it's very refreshing and quite strong at the same time, which is a heavenly mix in my opinion. This recipe has a little bit of a twist as I replaced simple syrup for Orgeat, a french almond liquor. I think it gives the drink an interesting flavour but if you don't have it, you can use simple syrup and it will still taste great
Let's take a look at what you need:
Ingredients:
- 2 ounces whisky
- 1 ounce Orgeat (or simple syrup)
- 1 ounce fresh lemon juice
Instructions
Put all ingredients in a shaker with ice and shake it until chilled. Strain to a short glass with ice and there you go!
You can get creative with garnish. I went for a simple lemon peel
