Today's Index4Index Daily Inspired Motivation is about making the decision to act, even and especially when we don't feel ready! Summoning the courage within us to take action when we don't feel ready is among the most important choices that we can make! It gets the ball rolling, and once it's rolling, we can more easily refine and make adjustments.

This is one of those really important lessons that I've learned in my life. Me being me, I always want to feel solidly ready to undertake something new. When what I want to begin, however, entails putting myself out there to people and the world, I have often had the habit of not acting, or choosing by not choosing, because I don't feel ready, which gets me nowhere particularly interesting. If I don't make the decision to just dive in and do it, nothing happens, which leaves me feeling annoyed and frustrated with myself.
Those times when I've chosen to do something significant, even when I was scared, usually turned out way better than I imagined, and I felt grateful for having chosen to act. That's very important, as I'd say many of us rarely actually feel ready to put ourselves out there and dive into something that we want but that scares us.
Believing in, trusting, and having confidence in ourselves and our capabilities is something of immense importance, that directly affects every area of our lives. We are all dynamos of magic and wonder, we just have to actually realize that, and give of ourselves, whether we feel ready or not.
What in your life have you wanted to do for a while, but have not because of not feeling ready, or feeling scared? Are you willing to do it even if you're scared? Whether you choose to act on it now or not, I believe in you! I know that you can do it! Believe, trust, and act!
