In today's Index4Index Daily Inspired Motivation I'm sharing one simple, insightful quote by Bruno Mars, that makes a connection between fun and success that is often missed or overlooked.

Often, when we think of success, what comes to mind is usually the lots of hard work needed to succeed. However, if what we're doing isn't fun to us, few of us will have the motivation to actually do all that hard work, especially over the long haul.
Fun is often thought of as frivolous or unimportant, however, I would suggest that fun and play are actually cornerstones of learning, growth, and yes, success. We don't succeed through drudgery, I can tell you that!
My old non-physical friend, Seth, said that "if it's not fun, don't do it!" a great many times during his sessions and in his books. In truth we serve nobody, least of all ourselves, if we force ourselves to do what we do not truly enjoy, and what is not fun to us.
Fun, like passion (they actually go hand in hand) , is contagious, and magnetically draws people in to get involved, and not only just in the moment, but also over the long haul. So make sure, friends, that you are authentically having fun in what you are doing with your goals, and on your success paths. In doing so, you will be increasing the joy of existence for yourselves, and for others, in the most meaningful and beautiful way possible.
