This one quote that I share with you all for today's Index4Index Daily Inspired Motivation, by Oswald Chambers, expresses something of immense importance, both for our lives, and for our entrepreneurial journeys - sincerity is powerful.
"Sincerity means that the appearance and the reality are exactly the same." - Oswald Chambers
What happens when someone is sincere with us? Our hearts open, our defenses come down, and we often feel a deeper connection, trust, and even loyalty in relation to said sincere individual. This applies to all human connections, across the board.
Sincerity means that there is congruency, integrity, and coherence between word and actions, and appearances and realities. There is no contradiction or disparity. Because of this, trust and loyalty arise naturally, and quite strongly. Being an entrepreneur, and a happy human, is all about creating and nurturing good interactions, connections, and relationships, in everything we do.
So much of the conditioning and programming that we receive from the fake slave system is to not be authentic, sincere, or vulnerable, but instead to put on and secure our social masks; to put on a 'good face', regardless of what's real within us. This, I'm sure you can see, does not, and cannot, bring us to anywhere useful, healthy, or good, for ourselves or anyone else.
Sincerity also let's us know and feel that someone is human, just like us, and with that there is usually greater understanding and compassion for his or her 'imperfections'. This in and of itself is huge.
So above all my friends, be sincere, authentic, real, and vulnerable, for that is one of your greatest powers in life, business, and relationships. Do this over time and you will find that your reputation truly does precede you in any interaction.
Remember, dear friends, that we are all in this together, that we rise by lifting others, and that together we thrive, so onward and upward, joyfully together! 🙏💚⚡💥🔥👣🌱
