Tener un hermano menor es una aventura constante, siempre tienen energía para jugar o para molestar o para molestar y jugar al mismo tiempo. Hace un par de días estaba estudiando y mi hermanito me pidió que saliera a ayudarlo con algo. Para mi sorpresa, al salir a las afueras de la casa lo encontré montado sobre un extraño monopatín de doble base que mamá nos regaló hace años, y que por motivos de riesgos y daños decidimos no volverlo a utilizar nunca más.
Se llama "Trikke", y es un "medio de transporte" cuyo creador no parecía apreciar mucho sus huesos, ya que desde que mamá lo compró, todos los miembros de mi familia que se han montado en él, se han estrellado y jurado nunca volverse a montar en él. Siendo tan peligroso, lo guardaron en el depósito hace muchos años. No me explicaba como mi hermano Rodrigo lo había encontrado.
Desde el inicio dijo querer ir a pasear montado en el trikke, y desde el inicio le dije que no. Sin embargo, fui emocionalmente chantajeado y tuve que aceptar a cuidarlo mientras el daba vueltas, ya que no lo podía dejar ir solo. Me sorprendió su habilidad. Mi hermano es tan torpe y descordinado que creía que se caería y tendría que llevarlo a casa a curarlo. Pero no, el montaba el trikke como si fuera algo sencillo, tan sencillo que me dieron ganas de intentarlo.
Todo iba bien, hasta que Rodrigo me empujó para ir más rápido y agarré demasiada velocidad y no supe cómo frenar y me estrellé en un desesperado intento por frenar.
Después de dar muchas vueltas colina abajo, tocó caminar de regreso a casa. No era consciente de que tan lejos habíamos ido hasta que tuvimos que caminar casi un kilómetro de camino a casa. Rodri ya estaba cansado, así que se sentaba a esperar cada cierta cantidad de pasos, y mientras el descansaba, yo aprovechaba para fotografiar algunas flores que vi en el camino. En una de esas paradas vimos un perrito que el decidió llamar "cariñoso", pero yo consideraba que era un perro abusador, así que yo decidí llamarlo "no-repetible" ya que no quería tener que volver a verlo de nuevo.
Al final, llegamos cansados a casa, con la moraleja de tener que frenar antes de que sea muy tarde, y la desición de vender el trikke para evitar futuras desgracias.

Having a younger brother is a constant adventure; they always have energy to play or to annoy you, or to annoy you and play at the same time. A couple of days ago, I was studying and my little brother asked me to come out and help him with something. To my surprise, when I went outside, I found him riding a strange double-decked skateboard that Mom gave us years ago, which we decided never to use again due to safety concerns and damage.
It's called a "Trikke," and it's a "means of transportation" whose creator didn't seem to value his bones very much, because since Mom bought it, every member of my family who has ever ridden it has crashed and sworn never to ride it again. Being so dangerous, it was stored in the shed many years ago. I couldn't understand how my brother Rodrigo had found it.
From the beginning, he said he wanted to go for a ride on the Trikke, and from the beginning, I said no. However, I was emotionally blackmailed and had to agree to watch him while he rode around, since I couldn't let him go alone. I was surprised by his skill. My brother is so clumsy and uncoordinated that I thought he would fall and I would have to take him home to nurse him back to health. But no, he rode the trikke as if it were easy, so easy that it made me want to try it.
Everything was going well until Rodrigo pushed me to go faster and I picked up too much speed and didn't know how to brake and crashed in a desperate attempt to slow down. Further down the road, we saw a squashed toad, and Rodri said I looked like that squashed toad after falling off the trikke.
After going around and around down the hill, we had to walk back home. I didn't realize how far we had gone until we had to walk almost a kilometer on the way home. Rodri was already tired, so he would sit down and wait every few steps, and while he was taking a breath I was taking pictures of some flowers in the journey. At one of those stops, we saw a little dog that he decided to call "lovely," but I thought it was an abusive dog, so I decided to call it "unrepeatable" because I didn't want to see it again.
In the end, we arrived home tired, with the moral of having to slow down before it's too late, and the decision to sell the trikke to avoid future misfortunes.
