Hace poco se estrenó la película live action de la película "Cómo entrenar a tu dragón", y desde que me enteré de su estreno estaba lleno de ansías por ir a verla al cine.
Hice magia y logré despejar un tiempecito para poder ir el lunes pasado al Cine, ya que los lunes son media entrada. Casi siempre voy solo al cine, pues disfruto la experiencia de tan solo apreciar el arte y la magia del cine. Mamá siempre dice que es de personas solitarias y miserables ir solo al cine, tal vez tenga razón, pero me siento muy feliz yendo al cine por mi mismo.
Al salir de la universidad mis compañeras me preguntaron que a donde iba y después de tanta insistencias tuve que decirle que iba a al cine. No quería decirles pues porque las conozco bien y sé que siempre les gusta arruinar mis planes.
Efectivamente, insistieron mucho y no tuve de otra que aceptar que me acompañaran.
Siempre suelo venir al cine y ver la primera película que comience apenas llegue al cine. Sin embargo, mis compañeras querían un horario específico, y yo no podía entender porqué, y me dieron una lista de motivos relacionados con el horóscopo que no parecía para nada creíble, pero dijeron que les daba chance para almorzar, así que tuvimos que comprar boletos para una función un poco más tarde. Ellas visitaron kfc en busca de unas hamburguesas y yo no tenía hambre, así que tan solo compré un agua para esperar.
La película estuvo muy buena, es extraño ver adaptaciones que sean totalmente fieles a la obra original, bueno, esta fue una. Parecía una copia exacta de la animación pero encarnada por humanos, y solo puedo quejarme de que faltó algo de violencia y realismo (pero era una película para niños, así que tampoco puedo exigir mucho). Durante la película, las chicas sacaron sus hamburguesas del almuerzo y habían comprado una para mí, fue una linda sorpresa. Estaba deliciosa y fue un gesto que me hizo sentir querido.
Fue extraño ir al cine acompañado. Siempre he ido solo, o con mi padre, pero nunca he ido acompañado en una pseudo cita al cine. Desde mi perspectiva, eso rompió mi experiencia del cine, pues las chicas comentaban muchas cosas de la película y hacían ruido. Se burlaron de mi por tomar demasiado en serio la película, lo cual me hizo pensar que tal vez debería relajarme un poco más y dejar a las nuevas personas entrar a mi vida.
En fin, fue una experiencia curiosa, que se repita.

The live action movie version of "How to Train Your Dragon" was recently released, and ever since I heard about it, I've been eager to go see it at the theater.
I worked some magic and managed to free up some time to go to the cinema last Monday, as Mondays are half-price. I almost always go to the cinema alone, as I enjoy the experience of simply appreciating the art and magic of cinema. My mom always says that only lonely and miserable people go to the cinema alone, and maybe she's right, but I feel very happy going to the cinema by myself.
When I left the university, my classmates asked me where I was going, and after much insistence, I had to tell them I was going to the movies. I didn't want to tell them because I know them well and I know they always like to ruin my plans.
Sure enough, they insisted a lot, and I had no choice but to let them accompany me.
I usually come to the cinema and watch the first movie that starts as soon as I arrive. However, my classmates wanted a specific time, and I couldn't understand why. They gave me a list of reasons related to horoscopes that didn't seem credible at all, but they said it gave them a chance to have lunch, so we had to buy tickets for a slightly later showing. They went to KFC for some burgers, and I wasn't hungry, so I just bought some water to wait with.
The movie was very good. It's rare to see adaptations that are totally faithful to the original work, but this was one. It seemed like an exact copy of the animation but played by humans, and my only complaint is that it lacked some violence and realism (but it was a children's movie, so I can't demand too much). During the movie, the girls took out their hamburgers from lunch and had bought one for me. It was a nice surprise. It was very tasty and made me feel loved.
It was strange to go to the movies with someone else. I've always went alone or with my father, but I've never gone on a pseudo-date to the movies. From my perspective, it ruined my movie experience, because the girls commented on many things in the movie and made noise. They laughed at me for taking the movie too seriously, which made me think that maybe I should relax a little more and let new people into my life.
Anyway, it was a curious experience, one that I hope to repeat.
