Been a while after my last cafe to work from review but here I am again! As a digital nomad who spends her time creating on Webflow and exploring unique spots to work from, I've found a good one again that I'm excited to share with you. This time, thanks to Ana, my friend who lives just a minute walk from the place and recommend I go there.
Ombra Cafe, a tucked-away gem just around the corner from Salsa Kitchen, a very well-known Mexican food spot here in town. Don't be fooled by its inconspicuous exterior. Inside, you're greeted with a fascinating maze of rooms and seating options, perfect for those seeking a refreshing place to work or chill.
Ombra Cafe offers the best of both worlds, with its comfortable indoor and breezy outdoor seating arrangements. If you fancy the fresh air, they have an outdoor table - an ideal spot to soak up the pleasant Chiang Mai weather while you work. Now that the burning season has passed, we're good to be out and about once again yay! Indoors, you have a plethora of seating options - from communal tables fostering a collaborative spirit to private corners offering peace and solitude.
One significant feature that immediately struck me was the cafe's thoughtful layout. There are back rooms with no music playing, a huge perk for those who prefer working in absolute tranquility. The cafe also accommodates standing places, which is an excellent option for those who love to stretch their legs during a long work session.
The Wi-Fi at Ombra Cafe is robust and reliable - a crucial factor for any digital nomad. With their solid internet connection, I've been able to make significant strides in my Webflow projects without any interruptions.
Further adding to the cafe's appealing environment are not one, but three air purifiers in each room. It's a small detail, but it makes a noticeable difference in creating a refreshing atmosphere to work in.
Ombra Cafe is more than just a cozy workspace. It's a fantastic place for foodies as well. Their kind and attentive staff serve a variety of delicious meals, making it a delightful spot for lunch meetings or a quick coffee break.
With its growing popularity, you might assume finding a spot at Ombra Cafe would be a challenge. Surprisingly, despite the crowd, there always seems to be a corner with a power outlet waiting for you. My advice? Visit Ombra, try your luck, and discover your favorite spot.
Liked it here and sure will be back when I have a chance!
