Welcome to your first task! We are still impressed by the number of newbies that applied this month. We will do our best effort to help all of you. Thank you for your trust in the project and I hope you are ready for an amazing ride.
This will be your first task and hopefully, you can learn something new about Hive. Let's start!

Hive Goals
Let's talk about goals. In every aspect of life, it is essential to set goals. If we want to grow in Hive, we need to set goals and objectives. For this part of the Newbies Initiative task, we ask you to answer the following questions:
- Which are your HIVE goals by the end of the month?
- How do you plan to achieve them?
- On who can you rely on to help you meet these goals?
I will share an example. With @aliento, we have the following goals and a plan to achieve them.
- By the end of the month, we want to achieve 23,000 Hive Power in total.
- We will achieve that by posting original content and by powering up as much HIVE as possible.
- Of course in @grisvisa and the wonderful Hispanic community.
Remember to set your goals on a specific number, in this case, Hive Power, followers, reputation, number of posts, comments, etc. Make your post as descriptive and complete as possible.
Metas de HIVE
Hablemos de objetivos. En todos los aspectos de la vida, es esencial establecer metas. Si queremos crecer en Hive, tenemos que establecer metas y objetivos. Para esta parte de la tarea de la Iniciativa para Novatos, te pedimos que respondas a las siguientes preguntas:
- ¿Cuáles son tus objetivos en HIVE para finales de mes?
- ¿Cómo piensas alcanzarlos?
- ¿En quién puedes apoyarte para alcanzar estos objetivos?
Voy a compartir un ejemplo. Con @aliento, tenemos los siguientes objetivos y un plan para alcanzarlos.
- Para finales de mes, queremos alcanzar 23,000 Hive Power en total.
- Lo conseguiremos publicando contenido original y potenciando todo el HIVE que podamos.
- Por supuesto en @grisvisa y la maravillosa comunidad hispana.
Recuerda fijar tus objetivos en un número concreto, en este caso, Hive Power, seguidores, reputación, número de posts, comentarios, etc. Haz tu post lo más descriptivo y completo posible.
Basic Recommendations
After joining Hive you may have noticed that there are many things that you need to learn. Our recommendation is always to ask if you have doubts. There are no dumb questions. Now I'm going to share some suggestions and also share some guides.
- Post only original content.
- Always source your content and be sure that you have permission to use the images or text. They should have a license that marks them free to use.
- Make your content visible pretty. Check this HTML and Markdown Guide.
- Publish in the correct communities. Explore them here.
- Never post your content twice. We've found some newbies who have been posting the same article in two or more communities. DON'T do this, your account could be blacklisted, and you could lose the rewards of all your pending posts.
Hive is a place to share your passions and your talent. Focus on writing and producing content of the things you love instead of trying to chase big votes. Join communities and engage, making good friends is something that can help you in your Hive journey.

Recomendaciones Básicas
Después de unirte a Hive te habrás dado cuenta de que hay muchas cosas que tienes que aprender. Nuestra recomendación es que siempre preguntes si tienes dudas. No hay preguntas tontas. Ahora voy a compartir algunas sugerencias y también algunas guías.
- Publica sólo contenido original.
- Siempre haz las fuentes de tu contenido y asegúrate de que tienes permiso para usar las imágenes o el texto. Deben tener una licencia que los marque como libres de usar.

- Publica en las comunidades correctas. Explóralas aquí.
- Nunca publiques tu contenido dos veces. Hemos encontrado algunos novatos que han publicado el mismo artículo en dos o más comunidades. NO hagas esto, tu cuenta podría entrar en la lista negra y podrías perder las recompensas de todos tus posts pendientes.
Hive es un lugar para compartir tus pasiones y tu talento. Céntrate en escribir y producir contenido de las cosas que te gustan en lugar de intentar perseguir grandes votos. Únete a las comunidades y participa, hacer buenos amigos es algo que puede ayudarte en tu viaje por Hive.

Summing Up and Bonus Task
Create a post where you answer the questions about the goals.
In the same post, add a summary or your thoughts of the recommendations and the guides shared in this post.
Let us know if you learned something new and how this information has impacted your vision of HIVE. Remember to be specific about your goals and to make your post as descriptive as possible.
Bonus Task by @ilaz.aliento:
Join at least one Hive community and leave three quality comments in posts of members of that community. Do this at least two or three days in the upcoming 7 days. You can leave share the links of your comments in your post to have an opportunity to earn an upvote.
Before posting in a community make sure you understand their rules. If you don't follow them you post might be muted.
Newbies, I'm so proud that you have taken this step, and this post is an excellent opportunity to apply some of the new knowledge.

Participating newbies are expected to publish often, at least one post a day. This is possible to attain. That's why we would like to recommend you joining The 30 Days Blogging Challenge hosted by The Blogging Challenge Community which would help to achieve the goal of daily blogging on Hive.
Posts made by participating newbies are advised to be shared in the SMILE DISCORD SERVER in #newbies-initiative-posts under the "ALIENTO" category newbies can engage with each other by commenting on shared posts. We will be on the lookout for healthy comments and supporting them through upvotes or tips via the @peakd tipping system.
