Follow others
Tengo una naturaleza que me hace tratar de ser diferentes a los otros. Aunque no puedo negar que alguna vez pasaron por mis oídos la frase de mi madre: si tus amigos se lanzan por una montaña, tu también tienes que hacerlo. Alguna que otra vez seguimos el camino de los otros. Pero creo que mi naturaleza acuariana me hace a veces propensa a saltarme algunos pasos del camino de los otros.
Más de una vez les oí decir a mis amigas esa solución no me paso por la mente. Y es que cada forma de solucionar los problemas se ven diferentes en cada mente.
Crear nuevos caminos que a la final llevan al mismo objetivo no puede verse tan mal al final. Y es que a veces puede resultar los pasos más largo o mas cortos en todo el proceso.
I have a nature that makes me try to be different from others. Although I can't deny that I've heard my mother's saying: if your friends take a mountain climb, you have to do it too. We occasionally follow the path of others. But I think my Aquarian nature sometimes makes me prone to skipping steps along the path of others.
More than once I've heard my friends say that solution never crossed my mind. The fact is that every way of solving problems looks different in every mind.
Creating new paths that ultimately lead to the same goal may not seem so bad in the end. And sometimes it can be the longest or shortest step in the entire process.
La mayoría de las veces las personas más creativas son las que no siguen los pasos de los demás, les gusta experimentar, aprender y si tienen suerte crearan algo nuevo para su mundo.
Vernos influenciados por los demás o seguir un líder es bastante común, principalmente en política. Tenemos la tendencia de dejarnos guiar por las opiniones de otros. Sus gustos para los alimentos, para decorar su hogar y hasta lo que deben estudiar nuestros hijos. No es que no tengamos nuestros propios gustos o no tengamos personalidad simplemente queremos estar presentes en una comunidad y encajar en ella.
Most of the time, the most creative people are those who don't follow in the footsteps of others; they like to experiment, learn, and, if they're lucky, create something new for their world.
Being influenced by others or following a leader is quite common, especially in politics. We tend to let ourselves be guided by the opinions of others—their tastes in food, their home decor, and even what our children should study. It's not that we don't have our own tastes or personality; we simply want to be present in a community and fit in.
Es bastante normal que sigamos a otros, porque debemos tener en cuenta que cuando nos apoyamos en otros podemos lograr grandes cosas. Entonces podemos encontrar un equilibrio entre ser creativo y original para seguir nuestro propio camino y seguir apoyando a otros. Seguramente notaran que llevas un camino diferente pero que te da resultado.
It's quite normal for us to follow others, because we must keep in mind that when we support others, we can achieve great things. Then we can find a balance between being creative and original to follow our own path and continue supporting others. They'll surely notice that you're taking a different path, but one that's working for you.
Es una practica muy común el seguir a otras personas, se vuelve hasta cómodo no tener que emprender y pensar en otros métodos para triunfar. Si vemos que a otros les dio resultado los seguimos, sabemos que a la larga podríamos llegar a triunfar. Pero lo que no se ve en la superficie es el arduo trabajo que realizan para llegar a liderar las masas.
It's a very common practice to follow others; it becomes comfortable not having to take action and think of other methods to succeed. If we see that others have had success, we follow them; we know we could eventually succeed. But what isn't visible on the surface is the hard work they put in to lead the masses.
