Hello beautiful people of Praise and Worship!
This is the 70th edition of the Praise and Worship series, and in this week’s rendition, I did a cover of the song “Mighty God” by Joe Praize, a gospel singer, songwriter, and music director from Nigeria.
Joe Praize is one of the Nigerian gospel ministers I truly enjoy listening to. One thing I admire about his songs is his unique style of music. He is incredibly gifted in both praise and worship. As a songwriter, he has a remarkable ability to craft lyrics that are not only melodious but also deeply meaningful, uplifting, and glorifying to the name of the Lord. Honestly, he is very talented when it comes to composing powerful gospel songs.
This particular song inspires me a lot because it is one that magnifies the greatness of God and acknowledges His sovereignty over all creation. The songwriter did an amazing job in creating such a meaningful piece that clearly communicates an important gospel message.
I must also commend the backup singers, who did excellently by coming in at the right moments and harmonizing beautifully in their respective parts. Their contributions, along with their sweet and powerful voices, enhanced the overall output of the song. The instrumentalists equally did a fantastic job. You could tell they had mastered their instruments well, as their performance was smooth and flawless.
