Hola mis queridos amigos de Sound Music y Liketu, hoy es un día especial para mi, no sólo por mi cumpleaños, sino también porque a partir de hoy les traeré una sección llamada "Mi Colección Musical", en donde les mostraré mi colección de discos principalmente y también algunas revistas relacionadas al mundo de la música.
Desde que empecé a escuchar rock y metal, empecé a comprar discos de mis bandas preferidas; era un hobby que tenía y que en algún momento retomaré ya que dejé de hacerlo por varias circunstancias. Soy un fanático de los discos físicos en una era donde todo ya es digital y este material discográfico que les iré presentando, representa años de amor apoyando la música y también representa motivación para mi, ya que gracias a estas bandas me inspiré y motivé para aprender a tocar guitarra y para cantar.
Hoy iniciamos esta aventura con una banda que hizo historia en el Punk, les hablo de Blink 182. Este es su 2do disco de estudio y cabe resaltar que el actual baterista Travis Barker, todavía no formaba parte de la banda para este momento. Este disco salió en el año 1997 y fue muy bien recibido ya que contaba con un arsenal de grandes canciones, que además algunas se lograron posicionar en MTV con sus respectivos videos musicales.
Este disco cierra una etapa de esta banda y aquí se puede notar su mejor momento antes de saltar al estrellato mundial con el siguiente disco que ya tiene la presencia del baterista que los hizo llegar a la cima en poco tiempo por su destreza y talento en el instrumento... en el próximo post conocerán mejor esta historia.
Dude Ranch es un gran disco, su sonido no se compara al de los siguientes, pero fue un gran referente para la nueva ola de bandas que emergieron en el género a inicios del 2000. Mis canciones favoritas de este álbum son: Pathetic, Dammit, Di&% Lips, Emo y su sencillo más genial Josie.

Today we start this adventure with a band that made Punk history, I'm talking about Blink 182.
