Hola amigos de Sound Music y Liketu, esta semana volvemos con otra entrega de la sección "Mi Colección Musical", en donde les mostraré semanalmente los discos que he comprado desde que inicié mi camino en la música. Continuando en sintonía con Blink 182, una de las bandas de Punk Rock más influyentes, les traigo su 3er disco de estudio llamado "Enema of the State" lanzado en junio del año 1999.
Este grandioso disco, consagró a Blink 182 en la cima, llevando su música a todo el planeta ya que sus 3 sencillos promocionales, lograron los mejores lugares en las listas musicales de diversas emisoras de radios y cadenas televisivas.
Para este momento la banda dio un salto cuántico a todo nivel; este disco se caracteriza por mezclar el género pop con el punk, dando paso a unas canciones muy estilizadas y melódicas, además, la inclusión de Travis Barker en la alineación y su maestría en la batería hizo que el sonido de Blink 182 brillara mucho más aún. En esta oportunidad Tom Delonge y Mark Hoppus, lograron consolidar una mejor proyección vocal dando más solidez en sus estilos al cantar.
El disco está muy bien producido de inicio a fin, se puede sentir mucho más el poder y la nitidez en todos los instrumentos, algo que fue de hecho reseñado por las buenas críticas en su momento. Un detalle particular, es que para la portada del disco y para el video del 1er sencillo, participó una actriz del entretenimiento para adultos y si eso no fuera poco los chicos hicieron ese video completamente desnudos , algo que fue chistoso y a la vez el centro de atención de los sectores más conservadores de la sociedad.
"Enema of the State" es el renacimiento de Blink 182 y es que el éxito que tuvo este disco fue tan grande, que hablar de ellos es recordar automáticamente esta etapa donde atrajeron masivamente a audiencias de todas las edades y de todas las latitudes.
Como verán en las fotos, la carátula y el cancionero del disco están en un estado regular de conservación, debido a que lo presté en muchas oportunidades y era uno de los que más escuchaba también, sin embargo partiendo de este hecho, el CD se escucha perfectamente y se puede disfrutar al máximo. Mis canciones favoritas del disco son: Don't Leave Me, Aliens Exist, Going Away To College, What's my Age Again, Adam's Song, All The Small Things y Mutt. En general tenemos un disco maduro, serio y a la vez divertido, si eres seguidor de esta banda creo que compartirás una visión similar al respecto.

Hello friends of Sound Music and Liketu, this week we return with another installment of the section "My Music Collection", where I will show you weekly the albums that I have bought since I started my way in music. Continuing in tune with Blink 182, one of the most influential Punk Rock bands, I bring you their 3rd studio album called "Enema of the State" released in June 1999.
This great album, consecrated Blink 182 in the top, taking their music to the whole planet since their 3 promotional singles, achieved the best places in the musical lists of diverse radio stations and television networks.
By this time the band took a quantum leap at all levels; this album is characterized by mixing the pop genre with punk, giving way to a very stylized and melodic songs, in addition, the inclusion of Travis Barker in the lineup and his mastery on drums made the sound of Blink 182 shine even more. This time Tom Delonge and Mark Hoppus, managed to consolidate a better vocal projection giving more solidity in their singing styles.
The album is very well produced from start to finish, you can feel much more power and sharpness in all instruments, something that was in fact reviewed by the good reviews at the time. A particular detail is that for the cover of the album and for the video of the 1st single, an actress of adult entertainment participated and if that was not enough the guys made that video completely naked, something that was funny and at the same time the center of attention of the most conservative sectors of society.
"Enema of the State" is the rebirth of Blink 182 and the success of this album was so great that to talk about them is to automatically remember this stage where they massively attracted audiences of all ages and from all latitudes.
As you will see in the photos, the cover and the songbook of the album are in a regular state of preservation, due to the fact that I lent it on many occasions and it was one of those that I listened to the most, however starting from this fact, the CD is perfectly listenable and can be enjoyed to the maximum. My favorite songs on the album are: Don't Leave Me, Aliens Exist, Going Away To College, What's my Age Again, Adam's Song, All The Small Things and Mutt. Overall we have a mature, serious yet fun album, if you are a follower of this band I think you will share a similar view on this.
