Mi experiencia en el Hive Blockchain Summit

Aunque han pasado ya varias semanas, no había escrito sobre mi experiencia sobre el Hive blockchain Summit Aunque no tenía expectativas al respecto creo que el evento fue todo un éxito en lo que a mí respecta. Tuve la oportunidad de ser panelista, pero eso lo cuento más adelante.

En aspectos generales creo que el evento ha fungido como un espacio para el aprendizaje, el networking, expandir redes de información y encuentro entre Hivers.

La dinámica de paneles con temas específicos conducidos por un moderador en el cual participan varios expertos sobre el tema a discutir propone un ambiente de debate y reflexión, bastante interesante. Como siempre, no puedo ver las cosas sin un poco de filosofía y sé que una de las cosas que más se ha perdido un poco es el tema de los debates.

Quizá muchas personas piensen que los debates son discusiones entre personas que son contrincantes, una especie de cuadrilátero verbal, cuando realmente es un encuentro entre personas dispuestas a exponer sus puntos de vista y enfrentarlos a otros puntos de vista, con la disposición de juntos pode alcanzar nuevos horizontes en la verdad, o en la construcción del conocimiento.

El summit como una plataforma para el debate en torno a temas de web3 es un formato increíblemente poderoso, y si se invitan a personas dispuestas a conversar en pro del conocimiento y que realmente sean expertos en el tema o por lo menos tengan experiencia de lo que se habla y pues, eso fue lo que se hizo. En ese aspecto creo que cada uno de los paneles fue realmente productivo.

No hubo perdida alguna en ninguna de las intervenciones, o por lo menos eso me pareció a mí. ¿Cómo sabes que estas viviendo al máximo un momento? Es cuando te pasa el tiempo y no te das cuenta y bajo esta premisa quiero comenzar a contarles sobre mi experiencia como panelista.

Mi Experiencia como panelista

Cierto día previo incluso a la CWB mi amiga @arlettemsalase me comenta que esta pensando en mí para participar en uno de los paneles del summit, me sentí super halagado y por supuesto respondí que contara conmigo, pero, tenia un par de preguntas que ahora que lo pienso bien, no sé por que no se lo pregunte en ese momento: ¿De qué era el tema a discutir en el panel? ¿Quiénes serían los otros panelistas?

Luego le pregunte por el tema del panel y me comentó que sería sobre las regulaciones criptos, cosa en la que no soy un experto en el sentido estricto de la palabra. Pero, bien al acercarse el día me comenta el titulo del panel "Naturaleza filosófica de las regulaciones criptos" a nivel filosófico es mucho lo que se puede hablar de la criptomonedas y eso realmente me puso a pensar.

Al llegar el día del evento, me escribe Arlette: "llega temprano que tu panel es el primero" Así que me aliste lo más rápido que pude y salimos al evento. En este punto, me llevé una gran sorpresa.

Todos unos expertos en el área blockchain y en ese momento me intimide, quizá el síndrome del impostor jugando de las suyas, pero me sentía como quizá se pueda sentir un pequeño insecto en un gallinero, de hecho pensé: "Me lanzaron entre tiburones" en el buen sentido, son personas que respeto y varios los sigo por RRSS como en el caso de Ezio y Roberto, a quienes les tengo demasiada estima y admiración, y en ese día esta al lado de ellos debatiendo sobre un tema tan importante.

A todo el equipo que organizó el evento y me consideraron como parte de este panel, muchas gracias, creo que me han dado no solo el animo que quizá sentía un poco ausente, sino que al estar junto a personas relevantes en el mundo blockchain de la región entendí que todo es posible si hay constancia y preparación.

Si me pregunta que fue lo que dije en el panel, no lo recuerdo estaba nervioso, pero fue un momento realmente increíble, y de nuevo mil veces gracias.

Apunté varias ideas que se hablaron en ese panel, y estoy dedicando tiempo y estudio a profundizar en cosas que allí se hablaron, pronto espero poder compartir mis reflexiones al respecto. Hace poco viendo un video de desic, me enteré que mi panel duro como dos horas, no imaginé que habíamos hablado tanto, sentí que el tiempo pasó rápido, es que realmente disfrute al máximo cada instante.

The dynamic of panels with specific topics led by a moderator with the participation of several experts on the topic to be discussed proposes an environment of debate and reflection, quite interesting. As always, I can't see things without a bit of philosophy and I know that one of the things that has been lost a bit is the theme of debates.

Perhaps many people think that debates are discussions between people who are opponents, a kind of verbal ring, when it is really a meeting between people willing to expose their points of view and confront them with other points of view, with the willingness to reach new horizons together in the truth, or in the construction of knowledge.

The summit as a platform for debate around web3 topics is an incredibly powerful format, and if you invite people who are willing to talk for knowledge and who are really experts in the subject or at least have experience in what is being talked about, then that is what was done. In that aspect, I believe that each of the panels was really productive.

There was no loss in any of the interventions, or at least it seemed that way to me. How do you know that you are living a moment to the fullest? It is when the time goes by and you don't realize it and under this premise I want to start telling you about my experience as a panelist.

My experience as a panelist

One day even before the CWB my friend @arlettemsalase told me that she was thinking of me to participate in one of the panels of the summit, I was super flattered and of course I answered that she could count on me, but, I had a couple of questions that now that I think about it, I don't know why I didn't ask her at that time: What was the topic to be discussed in the panel? Who would be the other panelists?

Then I asked him about the topic of the panel and he told me that it would be about crypto regulations, something in which I am not an expert in the strict sense of the word. But, as the day approached, she told me the title of the panel "Philosophical nature of crypto regulations " at a philosophical level there is a lot to talk about cryptocurrencies and that really got me thinking.

As the day of the event arrived, Arlette writes me: "arrive early your panel is first" So I got ready as fast as I could and we left for the event. At this point, I got a big surprise.

All experts in the blockchain area and at that moment I was intimidated, maybe the impostor syndrome playing its part, but I felt like maybe you can feel a small insect in a henhouse, in fact I thought: "I was thrown among sharks" in a good way, they are people I respect and several follow them by RRSS as in the case of Ezio and Roberto, whom I have too much esteem and admiration, and on that day this next to them debating on such an important topic.

To all the team that organized the event and considered me as part of this panel, thank you very much, I think you have given me not only the encouragement that perhaps I felt a little absent, but being with relevant people in the blockchain world in the region I understood that everything is possible if there is perseverance and preparation.

If you ask me what I said in the panel, I do not remember I was nervous, but it was a really amazing moment, and again thank you a thousand times.

I wrote down several ideas that were talked about in that panel, and I am dedicating time and study to deepen in things that were talked about there, soon I hope to be able to share my reflections about it. Recently watching a video of desic, I found out that my panel lasted about two hours, I did not imagine that we had talked so much, I felt that time passed quickly, I really enjoyed every moment to the fullest.
