El 22 de mayo de 2022 recordé el importante día, y así como en años anteriores, recordé que tenía que comprar una pizza. Lo primero que hice fue empezar a buscar pizzerías en mi ciudad que aceptarán pagos en Bitcoin para poder hacer todo como era, pero no encontré nada. Decidí entrar a Twitter, y vi un tweet en el que varias personas de mi ciudad estaban invocando para reunirse a comer pizza y les dejé un mensaje. Seguidamente, una chica me escribió por DM, me pasó la ubicación y me dijo que me fuera a compartir con ellos.

Me arreglé en 15 minutos y me fui a la pizzería. Yo iba bastante tímida (sé que muchos de ustedes no lo creerán, jeje) y en el momento en el que crucé la puerta sentí las miradas de las personas y algunos diciendo: "Es La Loreto", la chica que me escribió me recibió y yo ubiqué una mesa en dónde ví las conocidas caras de @apariciodigital y de Manuel Sánchez, quienes habían asistido unos días antes al 1er Hive Creators Day en la ciudad, así que me senté con mi hermana junto a ellos y empezamos a disfrutar el día y lo que yo llamo, "dónde empezó todo".

Podría decir que todo empezó en el Hive Creators Day, pero realmente empezó para mí ese día, cuando todo el mundo se me acercaba a saludarme, a decirme que me conocían de YouTube o de mi trabajo como embajadora en otras Blockchains, pero casi nadie había escuchado hablar de Hive. Es decir, muchos sabían quién era, pero no sabían que era Hive. Ese día me di cuenta de muchas cosas, pero la más importante fue, que yo había olvidado quien era y que el síndrome del impostor había estado dentro de mí durante toda la pandemia.

Salimos de la pandemia y empezó mi travesía, empecé a ir a varios eventos y a promocionar a Hive en muchos eventos presenciales y online, y hoy, un año después, el panorama para mí y para todo el ecosistema cambió. Todo empezó para mi hace un año.

Este año estaba dentro de mis planes junto a @hivevalencia, hacer el Bitcoin Pizza Day, estaba marcado en mi calendario y también lo marqué como una fecha importante en la que pasará algo de lo que ya les hablaré. Entonces, hace un par de semanas atrás, Manuel Sánchez escribió en el grupo de una comunidad Cripto de Valencia en Telegram proponiendo empezar a planificar el Bitcoin Pizza Day de este año y me propuso empezar a organizar el grupo, yo solo añadí a @lunarticanto y también se unieron a la organización: @kathajimenezr y Aníbal Garrido.

Fueron 10 días de locura a partir de ese momento que involucraba: contactar Sponsors para el evento, planificar contenido y material para redes sociales, ubicar pizzerías (hubo uno que se molestó conmigo cuando ubiqué una nueva pizzería porque no quería abrir el ahora a más de 40 personas 😅), también nos tocó hacer presupuestos de material POP para entregar el día del evento. El día que salió la invitación, se agotaron las 65 entradas en 4 horas. Tuvimos pautas de grabación y horas de edición de videos e imágenes.

Llegó el gran día y a las 5 en punto empezó el evento. Las personas pudieron intercambiar pizzas por Satoshi, hubo muchas conversaciones, interacción y premios. La organización fue perfecta, no hubo ningún detalle que se haya pasado, todos comieron pizza, estaban deliciosas. La noche pasó veloz, nadie se quedó sin pizza y a las 8 de la noche terminó el evento.

Hubo un total de 58 personas en el sitio, muchas de estas no habían podido adquirir su entrada, pero igual se llegaron al lugar a probar suerte. Personalmente, quedé muy satisfecha con todo lo que se logró, los objetivos fueron alcanzados y la satisfacción por hacer un gran evento y que quedará tan bien, no me la quitará nadie en un buen tiempo. Y con esto puedo decir que cierro con broche de oro un año maravilloso de aprendizajes increíbles, de saber contar con las personas y de tener fe en mí misma. En aprender a controlar mis emociones y mi ansiedad; hace un año era un manojo de nervios, y aunque aún hoy puedo exasperarme, les aseguro que no es tanto como un año atrás.

On May 22, 2022, I remembered the important day, and like in previous years, I remembered that I had to buy a pizza. The first thing I did was to start looking for pizzerias in my city that would accept Bitcoin payments, so I could do everything as if it was, but I didn't find anything. I decided to go on Twitter, and I saw a tweet where several people in my city were invoking to meet up for pizza, and I left them a message. Followed by a girl DM'ing me, passing me the location and telling me to go share with them.

I got dressed up in 15 minutes and went to the pizza place. I was quite shy (I know many of you won't believe it, hehe) and the moment I crossed the door I felt the looks of the people and some saying: "It's La Loreto", the girl who wrote me received me and I located a table where I saw the familiar faces of @apariciodigital and Manuel Sanchez, who had attended a few days before the 1st Hive Creators Day in the city, so I sat with my sister next to them and we started to enjoy the day and what I call, "where it all started".

I could say it all started at Hive Creators Day, but it really started for me that day, when everyone came up to me to say hello, to tell me they knew me from YouTube or from my work as an ambassador on other Blockchains, but hardly anyone had ever heard of Hive. In other words, many knew who I was, but didn't know what Hive was. I realized many things that day, but the most important was, that I had forgotten who I was and that the imposter syndrome had been inside me throughout the pandemic.

We got out of the pandemic and my journey began, I started going to several events and promoting Hive in many face-to-face and online events, and today, one year later, the landscape for me and for the whole ecosystem changed. It all started for me a year ago.

This year it was in my plans together with @hivevalencia, to make the Bitcoin Pizza Day, it was marked on my calendar and I also marked it as an important date in which something will happen that I will tell you about. Then, a couple of weeks ago, Manuel Sanchez wrote in the group of a Valencia Crypto community in Telegram proposing to start planning this year's Bitcoin Pizza Day and proposed me to start organizing the group, I just added @lunarticanto and also joined the organization: @kathajimenezr and Anibal Garrido.

It was 10 days of madness from that moment on that involved: contacting Sponsors for the event, planning content and material for social networks, locating pizzerias (there was one that got annoyed with me when I located a new pizzeria because he didn't want to open the now to more than 40 people 😅), we also had to make budgets for POP material to deliver the day of the event. The day the invitation went out, the 65 tickets were sold out in 4 hours. We had recording guidelines and hours of video and image editing.

The big day arrived and at 5 o'clock the event started. People were able to exchange pizzas for Satoshi, there were many conversations, interaction, and prizes. The organization was perfect, no detail was overlooked, everyone ate pizza, they were delicious. The night went by fast, no one was left without pizza, and at 8pm the event ended.

There were a total of 58 people on site, many of them had not been able to buy their tickets, but they still came to the place to try their luck. I personally was very satisfied with everything that was achieved, the objectives were met and the satisfaction of making a great event and that it will look so good, no one will take it away from me for a long time. And with this I can say that I close with a golden clasp an amazing year of incredible learning, of knowing how to count on people and to have faith in myself. In learning to control my emotions and my anxiety; a year ago I was a bundle of nerves, and although even today I can still get exasperated, I assure you that it is not as much as a year ago.

Y sí, cierro con broche de oro porque el último evento que tenía planificado era este. Me retiraré de las organizaciones de eventos por un par de meses porque quiero tomarme un tiempo y que mi vida tome un nuevo rumbo, reconectar conmigo y salir un poco del estrés, que aunque ya controlo mejor, sigue siendo una locura para mí. No me iré de Hive, me seguirán viendo publicar cada día y estaré activa seguramente por allí. Si, Hive desde cero también se va de vacaciones conmigo y sí, volveré a dar las clases, aunque aún no hay una fecha prevista.

Este año increíble me he topado con gente maravillosa, tengo nuevos amigos, logré hacer buenos amigos en Valencia y sí, me verán con ellos. Seguiremos subiendo cerros y saliendo a cafés, porque nos encanta, pero me tomaré todo con tranquilidad. Leeré, veré películas y series, terminaré de estudiar para aprovechar los dos meses que me quedan de mi beca de Platzi y luego volveré.

I will be retiring from organizing events for a couple of months because I want to take some time off and let my life take a new direction, reconnect with myself and get out of stress, which, although I have a better control, it is still crazy for me. I will not leave Hive, you will still see me posting every day and I will be active there for sure. Yes, Hive from scratch is also going on vacation with me and yes, I will return to teach classes, although there is still no scheduled date.

This amazing year I have met wonderful people, I have new friends, I managed to make good friends in Valencia and yes, you will see me with them. We will continue climbing hills and going out for coffee, because we love it, but I will take it all in stride. I will read, watch movies and series, finish studying to take advantage of the two months I have left of my Platzi scholarship, and then I will come back.
