Éste post es para agradecer a quienes contribuyeron a que hoy pudiera alcanzar la meta que me tracé el mes pasado y para relatar cómo llegue a ella. Hoy, luego de 127 días de acceder a mi cuenta en HIVE logré ser un PEZ PEQUEÑO según @hivebuzz . Todas las imágenes son capturas de pantallas de las diferentes plataformas de HIVE ayer en la noche.

This post is to thank those who helped me reach the goal I set for myself last month and to tell you how I got there. Today, after 127 days of accessing my account at HIVE I managed to be a MINNOW according to @hivebuzz . All images are screenshots from the different HIVE platforms last night.

On Monday August 17, 2020 I was kind enough to have @roadstories open my account in HIVE to start my career in this community. As I stated in my presentation post, I am grateful to him and to @gardenofcarmen and @kpopjera who clarified our basic doubts and encouraged us to take this path with realism, assiduity and constancy. I am also grateful to @victoriabsb @arlettemsalase and @laloretoyya who by courier service were able to help me channel my efforts to be a good author within the platform.

El Lunes 17 de agosto del 2020 tuve la gentileza de que @roadstories abriera mi cuenta en HIVE para iniciar mi carrera en ésta comunidad. Tal como expuse en mi post de presentación, estoy agradecido con él y con @gardenofcarmen y @kpopjera quienes aclararon nuestras dudas básicas y animaron a emprender éste camino con realismo, asiduidad y constancia. También agradezco a @victoriabsb @arlettemsalase y @laloretoyya quienes por servicio de mensajería pudieron ayudarme a canalizar mis esfuerzos por ser un buen autor dentro de la plataforma.

Doy las gracias a quienes, según las estadísticas de PeakD, son los que más han votado en mis post. A lo largo de mis primeros 22 post traté de mostrar algún material fotográfico que les pudiera gustar. También, algunas de ellas las acompaño de líneas de pensamientos. Pido disculpas a los lectores cultos que pudieran tropezarse con algunas de éstos post. Sé que no poseo un lenguaje muy profundo, grandilocuente o elaborado, pero tampoco quiero ser muy informal. Por supuesto, sin dejar de lado éstas expresiones que como latinos y venezolanos forman parte de nuestro léxico. Pero una idea sí estaba definida desde el principio: invertiría en la plataforma haciendo que el 100% de mis recompensas como autor fueran a HivePower, y de ésta manera crecer. Así lo hice.

Throughout my first 22 posts I tried to show some photographic material that they might like. Also, some of them were accompanied by lines of thought. I apologize to educated readers who might stumble upon some of these posts. I know I don't have a very deep, grandiloquent or elaborate language, but I don't want to be too informal either. Of course, without leaving out these expressions that as Latinos and Venezuelans are part of our lexicon. But one idea was defined from the beginning: I would invest in the platform making 100% of my rewards as an author go to HivePower, and in this way grow. So I did.

Debo admitir de que a mitad de éste tiempo presenté cierto desánimo. Luego de observar cómo en un par de ocasiones no tuve la receptividad que esperaba. Pero tuve que preguntarme "¿Qué pasó?". Dediqué tiempo a leer más a otros autores y creadores de contenido, leer post que hablaban sobre el crecimiento en Hive, conocer más sobre cómo funciona la plataforma, preguntar a algunos que mencioné al principio buscando guía y ayuda. Obviamente hallé respuestas. Además, pude también atender a ésta: "¿Qué estoy haciendo mal? ¿Qué puedo hacer mejor?". Tuve que resolver éstos asuntos, lo cual me llevó algunos días. Con una nueva visión, hace 30 días empecé a llevar a cabo el plan que diseñé, que incluía alcanzar la meta de ser un Minnow éste mismo año, y bueno, aquí estamos. A las 9:00 p.m. de ayer reclamé la recompensa, y treinta minutos después me llegó la respuesta de @hivebuzz notificándome el progreso obtenido.

I must admit that in the middle of this time I was a bit discouraged. After observing how on a couple of occasions I did not have the receptivity I expected. But I had to ask myself "What happened? I spent time reading more to other authors and content creators, reading posts that talked about growing up on Hive, learning more about how the platform works, asking some of the people I mentioned at the beginning for guidance and help. Obviously I found answers. In addition, I was also able to address this one: "What am I doing wrong? What can I do better? I had to resolve these issues, which took me a few days. With a new vision, 30 days ago I began to carry out the plan I designed, which included reaching the goal of being a Minnow this very year, and well, here we are. At 9:00 p.m. I claimed the reward, and thirty minutes later I got the response from @hivebuzz notifying me of the progress.

No dudo de que existan otros usuarios que hayan crecido más rápido que yo, porque hay muy, muy, muy buenos autores en la comunidad. Mi propósito es sólo compartir cómo ha sido mi experiencia. Probablemente esos otros sean un mejor ejemplo a seguir para los que seguimos siendo nuevos aquí.

I don't doubt that there are other users who have grown faster than me, because there are very, very, very good authors in the community. My purpose is just to share how my experience has been. Those others are probably a better example to follow for those of us who are still new here.

Mientras tanto, pienso disfrutar mi nueva insignia. Por cierto, me gusta cómo se ve ese pez azul. Ahora bien, deseo seguir tratando de ser un buen autor, generando contenido con la mejor calidad posible. También, trabajaré a ahora con las recompensas a 50% - 50%. Seguiré votando manualmente para apoyar el contenido de otros buenos autores. El mes que viene tendré una capacitación personal de 8 a 12 horas que pienso posteriormente poner en práctica en HIVE y seguir contribuyendo a mantener la calidad esperada.

In the meantime, I plan to enjoy my new badge. By the way, I like the look of that blue fish. Now, I want to continue trying to be a good author, generating content with the best possible quality. Also, I will work on the rewards now at 50% - 50%. I will continue to vote manually to support the content of other good authors. Next month I will have a personal training of 8 to 12 hours that I plan to implement later in HIVE and continue contributing to maintain the expected quality.
