Man, what a hot-ass day we’ve had today in this part of the world. It hit close to 40 degrees Celsius at noon, and while that’s supposed to be normal for this time of year, it feels heavy as hell to endure when we were barely above 20 degrees just a week ago.
Perfection is hard to find, and life’s about swinging through adversities and grabbing opportunities, right? Well, in theory, that sounds all nice and simple, but the reality is, building a strong mind and unshakable grit ain’t that easy. We’re over a year past the last Bitcoin halving, and we still haven’t seen a proper altcoin season yet...
I know, I know, I’ve rambled about altcoin seasons so much it’s getting annoying, but isn’t that why you’re in crypto?I don’t know about you, but I’m sure as hell in it for the money. For a while, I thought I was here for the tech, but after 16 years of Bitcoin being nothing more than a volatile digital asset, I’ve kinda lost faith in the mass adoption we used to believe in.
You know, that mass adoption that was supposed to flip financial and governance systems worldwide. It’s not happening, and it probably never will. The lords of the planet have been here for ages, and they’re not going anywhere... just pushing their plans forward. But if crypto hasn’t changed the world yet—and maybe it never will—why not focus on changing our lives through crypto?
It’s possible (says someone who’s been in this game for eight years and is still broke). It’s funny how easily the majority gets euphoric at local tops and how fast they get played by market makers. Just yesterday, we had a ton of CT influencers getting all hyped up about altcoins starting to outpefomr BTC.
Well, that didn’t last long. BTC sneezed (something like a $2,000 drop in dollar valuation over the past 24 hours), and alts already caught a cold. Now, bears are crawling out of the woods again, claiming victory, when, in my opinion, this is just a cool-off period.
Some altcoins were up over 30% on the weekly, and Bitcoin had to claw some of that back. I don’t think the bull market’s over. I don’t know exactly when it’ll end—maybe sometime at the end of the year—so...Why not crack a beer and buy the dip if you’ve still got some cash left? Have a great day, and I’ll catch up with you all next time.
Thanks for your attention,
Adrian
