Hoy, es el turno de Mary Wollstonecraft. Escritora y filósofa feminista, de origen inglés. Su reputación fue el inicio de una legado que revolucióno a las mujeres siglos después de sus comienzos feministas. Hija de padres adinerados y vida cómoda, que luego perdería por sus ideas personales sobre la independencia femenina, su padre derrocho su fortuna y ella decidió huir. Tuvo desde siempre la idea de que la mujer debía y tenía derecho de tomar decisiones y poder trabajar. Una de sus mejores amigas la escritora famosa Jane Austen, en su juventud ambas disfrutaban de la literatura y tenía ideas sobre ser escritoras.

Wollstonecraft, tuvo muy mala suerte para los trabajos decentes, bien remunerados, por ser mujer. En uno de sus trabajos fue institutriz, pero su sueño era ser escritora. Cuando su mejor amiga Fanny Blood, Muere en un parto, eso la destrozó y la hizo hacer su primera novela. Recresa a Londres y empieza trabajar con Joseph Johnson.
Donde tuvo tiempo de escribir, aprender idioma, conocer hombres importantes y políticos, donde muchas veces refutó sus ideales y libros. Esto la inspiró a hacer su más influyente obra, 1792
" Vindicacion de los derechos de la mujer ". Se enamoro de Gilbert Imlay, con quien tuvo a su hija Fanny Imlay, ambos no se casaron, sólo tuvieron una relación fugaz.

Mary, luego de varios tropiezos, comienza a escribir, sobre sus experiencias por la depresión y el fracaso de su suicidio, conoce a William Godwin, se casan, el 29 de marzo de 1797, ya ella estaba embarazada de su hija Mary Shelley. Tenían una relación separada, pero feliz, sus ideales feministas estaba muy raigados, y aunque fue muy corto, fue auténtico. Muere el 10 de septiembre 1797, luego de dar ha luz a su hija , tenía 38 años.

The daughter of wealthy parents and a comfortable life, which she would later lose because of her personal ideas about female independence, her father squandered his fortune and she decided to run away. She always had the idea that women should and should have the right to make decisions and be able to work. One of her best friends, the famous writer Jane Austen, in her youth both enjoyed literature and had ideas about being a writer.

Wollstonecraft, had very bad luck for decent, well-paid jobs because she was a woman. In one of her jobs she was a governess, but her dream was to be a writer. When her best friend Fanny Blood, died in childbirth, it devastated her and made her write her first novel. She went back to London and started working with Joseph Johnson.
Where she had time to write, learn language, meet important men and politicians, where she often refuted their ideals and books. This inspired her to write her most influential work, 1792 Vindication of the Rights of Woman. She fell in love with Gilbert Imlay, with whom she had her daughter Fanny Imlay, the two did not marry, only had a fleeting relationship.

Mary, after several setbacks, began to write about her experiences of depression and the failure of her suicide, met William Godwin, married on 29 March 1797, she was already pregnant with his daughter Mary Shelley.
