Most people's attention is maybe on the main event, after all, the winner can be known as the best UFC heavyweight fighter of all time. I know that there is a lot at stake on the trilogy fight between Stipe Miocic vs Daniel Cormier, but the co-main-event between Sean O'Malley and Chito Vera can produce the future face of the UFC.
Not only that he is undefeated but he always has this fighting style and charisma that this early of his career he already has a solid following. I am talking about the Sugar Show Sean O' Malley. This marijuana smoking undefeated athlete is taking the UFC by storm. Snoop Dog and Joe Rogan can't stop talking about him, he brings excitement inside and outside Octagon, some say he can be a bigger star than Conor McGregor. Time will tell, but if you ask me, I should say he's got the skills and style to do so.
Now he will face the biggest challenge of his career in the form of Marlon Vera. He's no pushover, currently riding on five winning streaks inside the Octagon and proven himself to be one of the toughest guys out there. Never been knocked out and always comes to finish the fight. He's got the experience and skills to beat anyone in the bantamweight division. A win against a fast-rising superstar can certainly add stars to his credentials and catapult him to the rankings.
