There were days when we could do virtually everything we wanted, you could meet with friends, embrace, touch and play carelessly with them without any thought in mind...caring for the sick was not even a big deal, because you knew that there was no danger alert..."covid 19".
Now fear has become the order of the day and uncertainty has taken position in the minds of many. Questions of "When will this all end?, What are we going to do? How will we survive since there is no more source of income? I have a fever...do I...?" and many other questions with unsure answers. In some part of the world, security has become a major issue as hunger and no money due to the lockdown has become an excuse to break into homes and rob people of the little they have. Not only do they fear being infected, they now have to contend with security issues.
It is well...yes! It is well...it would end sometime, it will get better...we have to keep telling ourselves that and keep our fingers crossed. Just like how the sunsets, there is always a sunrise... which signifies fresh start and new beginnings, so also will all these soon pass. When it does, we get to look back to this day and be glad we made it through.
This is me when the topic on the list says "write a poem" but I end up writing nothing close to a poem....honestly am not poet lol.
