Today I have brought you a monument that maybe we know a lot about, particularly I have only seen it in movies. This is the White House Monument and inside it, it has an imposing sculpture of Abraham Lincoln.
I was excited to make this monument in Minecraft style because I saw it as something difficult or complicated, maybe they are crazy, but I like it when it's like that. I can admit too, that I really liked the result.

Now relating everything, I want to tell you a little bit about the Abraham Lincoln story:
President Abraham Lincoln was one of the presidents of the United States, he took office in the year 1860. Unfortunately his term of office was not so long in the year 1865, he was assassinated. The assassination happened while he was watching a play.
Abraham Lincoln was and still is considered one of the most notable and relevant leaders in history, since his greatest achievement was the abolition of slavery.
From a more personal point of view, I can point out that from a human level Abraham Lincoln represents very much the peace and growth oriented citizen.
One of the famous phrases of this illustrious character, which I like the most is the following:
"Do not be afraid of failure, it will not make you weaker, but stronger".
I like this phrase, because many times we are limited by ourselves, by an endemic fear of failure. However, we must learn to see failure as a training to become stronger, to learn to turn a general concern into something positive that builds our whole being. To err is human, but we cannot go through life fearing everything without having tried. It's like clipping our own wings.
I will also attach a series of quotes from Abraham Lincoln:
Always remember that your own resolution to succeed is more important than anything else.
Almost all people are as happy as they choose to be.
The probability of losing in the struggle should not deter us from supporting a cause we believe to be just.

These are short sentences, but full of so many truths. Some of them have already been lost, but it is right to recover them, to increase the human and sincere sense.

Step by step:
1.- First I started by building the White House. I started with the machones that give decoration to the house and at the same time fortify it. Then I built a part of the house.
2.- I was assembling the outside floor.
3.- Now I dedicated myself to the construction of the walls and the roof.
4.- At this point, I started to make Abraham Lincoln. First I started building the chair where he rests, then I assembled the pair of legs and feet. Then I made his body, head, hat and suit bow. At this point I also mention that the original monument is all made in white, however I made it in color so you could see the figure of Abraham perfectly.

Some setbacks encountered in the recreation:
1.- The first mishap was that instead of a bow tie, I had made him a red tie. Honestly I had not noticed it and I had to disassemble and assemble a bow tie instead. This, in turn, was difficult to make, because the blocks were very protruding and prevented me to establish well the creation of the desired figure.
The second setback was that I had put Abraham Lincoln in the wrong position, and I had to redo it. This was also practically a personal mistake.

Hoy les he traído un monumento que quizás mucho conocemos, particularmente yo le he visto solo en películas. Este es el Monumento de la Casa Blanca y dentro de la misma, tiene una escultura imponente de Abraham Lincoln.
Me entusiasmé por hacer este monumento al estilo Minecraft debido a que lo ví algo difícil o complicado, quizás se les loco, pero me gusta cuando es así. Puedo admitir también, que el resultado me ha gustado mucho

Ahora relacionando todo, quiero comentarles un poco sobre la historia Abraham Lincoln:
El presidente Abraham Lincoln fue uno de los presidentes de Estados Unidos, tomó la presidencia en el año 1860. Lastimosamente su período de mandato no fue tan largo en el año 1865, fue asesinado. El asesinato sucede mientras se encontraba observando una obra de teatro.
Abraham Lincoln fue y aún es considerado uno de los más notables y relevantes líderes de la la historia, puesto que su mayor logro fue la abolición de la esclavitud.
Desde un punto más personal, puedo señalar que desde un nivel humano Abraham Lincoln representa mucho al ciudadano orientado a la paz y al crecimiento.
Una de las frases célebres de este ilustre personaje, que más me gusta es la siguiente:
"No le temas al fracaso, que no te hará más débil, sino más fuerte".
Me gusta esta frase, porque muchas veces nos vemos limitados por nosotros mismos, por un miedo al fracaso endémico. Sin embargo, debemos aprender a ver el fracaso como un entrenamiento para ser más fuertes, aprender a convertir una preocupación general en algo positivo que edifique nuestro ser completo. Errar es de humanos, pero no podemos ir por la vida temiendo de todo, sin haberlo intentado. Es como si nos cortaramos nuestras propias alas.
Adjuntaré también una serie de frases de Abraham Lincoln:
Recuerda siempre que tu propia resolución de triunfar es más importante que cualquier otra cosa.

Son frases cortas, pero llenas de tantas verdades. Algunas que ya se han perdido, pero es correcto recuperarles, para aumentar el sentido humano y sincero.

Paso a paso:
1.- Primero comencé construyendo la Casa Blanca. Inicié por los machones que le dan decoración a la Casa y a la vez las fortifica. Luego construí una parte de la casa.
2.- Fui montando el piso de afuera.
3.- Ahora me dediqué a la construcción de paredes y el techo.
4.- En este punto, inicié a hacer a Abraham Lincoln. Primero inicié construyendo la silla donde reposa, luego le armé el par de piernas y pies. Seguidamente le hice su cuerpo, cabeza, sombrero y moño del traje. En este punto también les menciono que el monumento original está todo hecho en color blanco, sin embargo yo lo hice a color para que se pudiera apreciar perfectamente la figura de Abraham.
Bueno ya hemos terminado el paso a paso, aquí les muestro como luce al haberlo terminado:

Algunos contratiempos encontrados en la recreación:
1.- El primer contratiempo fue que en vez de un moño, le había hecho una corbata de color rojo. Sinceramente no lo había percatado y tuve que desarmar y armar en su lugar un moño. Éste, a su vez me costó de hacer, debido a que los bloques eran muy sobresalientes y me impedían establecer bien la creación de la figura deseada.
2.- El segundo contratiempo fue que a Abraham Lincoln lo había puesto en la posición errónea, y lo tuve que volver a hacer. Este también prácticamente fue un error personal.
