Hello Everyone
Warm greetings to all of Gems friends, in this post I'll share photos taken with a smartphone camera and an APL 100mm macro lens. I found an insect perched on the leaves in the side yard of the house, shaped like a grasshopper, I thought at once this insect was similar to the Kamen Rider character, namely a grasshopper and it turned out I was wrong.
After researching more about the insects I captured, I discovered that this is a sort of insect that becomes a nuisance for plants such as rice, and the impact of this bug draining the juice from the morning plant causes the weight of the rice to drop and black patches to appear.
Referred to as rice ear bug, which is a type of insect that lives in the tropics where plants grow around it, such as wheat or wheat, has the scientific name Leptocorisa oratoria which belongs to the insect family Alydidae which is similar to Leptocorisa acuta.
This Rice ear bug has a life cycle of about 35 to 56 days which is active from morning to evening, the type I found has a black body color with green patterns around it as well as the legs of this insect there are three pairs, namely in front, middle, and back. In addition, this rice pest has long dark-colored antennae near its eyes.
Hopefully, my content today will be useful to all of us, and I hope that in the future, I will be able to share better photography content than before.
Thank You
