Hey everyone, how're you all doing today?
Last week was a really special one for me and many others at Living Faith Church (Winners Chapel), Rumurolu PH. It was our Mothering Sunday, and what a celebration it was.
We all came adorned in our beautiful Kiri Kiri star wrappers, filling the atmosphere with color, unity, and joy. I took lovely photos with friends, family, and fellow mothers, each picture holding a story of love and laughter.
Throughout the week, we engaged in meaningful and fun activities, from a visit to an orphanage to march pass, races, and games. The mothers were grouped into Green, Blue, Red, and Yellow Houses, and the competitive spirit was alive and beautiful.
The Sunday service was a grand finale featuring songs, cultural dances, drama presentations, news reading, and lots more. The husbands and fathers were encouraged to appreciate their wives and mothers with gifts and kind gestures, a reminder that behind every great family is a woman who gives her all.
There was also a special word for those who have lost their mothers, a gentle reminder that their love never really leaves us, and their legacy lives on in who we are.
Motherhood is a divine assignment. It is strength wrapped in gentleness, sacrifice painted in patience, and love poured out without holding back.
A prayer for every mother:
May your hands never grow weary, may your heart never lose hope. May your sacrifices return to you in joy, peace, and honor. May God bless you with long life, good health, and the deepest kind of fulfillment. For those grieving their mothers, may God’s comfort fill every space in your heart.
Today reminded me that being a mother is more than biology. It’s the act of showing up, giving love, and being the rock others can lean on. I’m grateful for the gift of every woman who answers the call to nurture.
