The president of the Philippines had given money to the people in aid for the lockdown situation that we are experiencing as many of the people are out of work and had been asked to stay at home and not go out and going out only with restrictions.
Unlike in the USA where the government there gave the money in everyone's bank account, here in my country the government unfortunately gave the benefit of the doubt trusting the local government unit (LGU) the task in handing out money for the poorest of the poor with me included because I am person with disability.
The plan was to give money to almost all people but the senior citizens receiving pension money are not included. People with regular jobs with benefits are not included as well.

The problem now is the red tape because of LGUs, and I might receive 8,000 pesos but it might get stripped down to 6,500 as I have heard. Now that stripped amount is already gone and now will get into the pockets of somebody in the local government for sure.
So I haven't received my grant yet which is unfortunate. What if I really needed the money and I have nothing to spend? This is why it is not good to have a mediator when money is passed because of the red tape and corruption because the people suffers and the local government fattens-up with their pockets. @created

My suggestion to the government is to give every qualified citizen (PWDs, Poorest of the poor, people with irregular jobs like direct hire only, etc.) a debit card where they can just give the money directly to the person like when pensioners are receiving their money now and in that way we can eliminate red tape and corruption from the local government units, the people will greatly benefit on this for sure.
