What made today so awesome?
I got some great sleep last night and started the day with plenty of energy. I began with a shower and then traveled down the street to pick up my weekly raw goat milk delivery. Afterwards I drove through the car wash where I have a monthly membership. I had a juicy steak for lunch. Then I started my hunt for Ghost of Tsushima, the brand new PS4 Exclusive action-rpg set in feudal Japan. While searching I picked up a few things at the clothing store in the mall that matched perfectly with the Japanese theme of the video game. I also found a new flavor of kombucha that I never had tried before. When I got to work this evening, I had two surprises waiting on me.

I got this teal tie-dye & pink cherry blossom shirt, plus the swimming trunks (at Rue 21) to wear tomorrow at Kennywood Amusement Park in Pittsburgh. Should match great with my new waterproof hip pack.
My steak with veggies and a sweet potato from Outback were mouth watering.
I have been waiting for this PS4-exclusive since it was first teased in 2017. This is an open-world samurai rpg where you get to kill Mongols with your blade, plus stealth comes into play. I’ve never played a game this vast that is set in this time period and to think one of my tattoo sleeves is totally dedicated to Japanese art. I can’t wait to dive headfirst into this game after we get back from Pittsburgh towards the end of this weekend. I had a hell of a time trying to find a physical copy of this one game, I went to Gamestop, Target, and Best Buy. All were sold out on launch day! Thankfully Wal-Mart had two copies left. Recently my PS4’s external hard drive crapped out, I am choosing to wait for a PS5 instead of getting another external. This means currently digital games don’t fit on my day one PS4’s tiny internal hard drive. I already have a whopping 3 installed and cannot fit any more.

The people at my work were nice and brought a dozen cupcakes in since it’s one of my last days working with them. I start a different job next week. I may have had 4 cupcakes, but you’ll never know for sure.
I’m obsessed with this Great Wave design. I always have been. This is my first time having a shirt displaying the image.

The only negative side of today is that once I got to work, I found out there was a water main break. So we are stuck with ports johns for the evening. Plus the AC isn’t at full capacity due to lack of water, so it’s about how 85 degrees in here right now. No worries, I have an awesome weekend ahead of me!
The last surprises of the night are the pizzas that my friends got us. Plus the fact that I’m getting to leave two hours early (@ midnight) so that I’m able to get adequate sleep for mine and @flowerbaby’s road trip tomorrow.
