This classical piece is called "Swan Lake" which some of you guys might know it from past, It is a piece composed by Tchaikovsky, he was a Russian composer of the Romantic period. He was the first Russian composer whose music made a lasting impression internationally ... .
There is something special in this Classical piece which I would call it a kind of Classical Metal music even if it was original performed with Classical instruments but the theme, the chords, melodies, everything is just telling me that this epic classical piece is a a kind of Metal music even before someone would cover it :D I mean just listen to the changes in 1:49, it's really amazing and I can't explain it with words which how do I feel when I hear it.
I somehow try to explain my own feelings about this track from intro to the end of it.
The intro starts like telling a story, like a fairy tale, but you can also relate it to the real life, and put yourself in that scene and think about yourself as the first person of a movie and close your eyes and keep moving forward and imagine and keep dreaming while the music is telling you something. I can imagine like if it tells me about happy memories of the past in a beautiful place and a happiness which later they take it from you, and suddenly with the sounds of horns it is like a big war, like there will be something which starts to take the places where you had memories in those places, and then it gets back to those memories again and reminds you again about the one you loved, in 1:50 it is like the climax of a story, like if the danger is so close and it is the last hope, like if you have to do something at the moment to save everyone or yourself at all, but when the music is going down at the end it is like it has a kind of tragedy. You can imagine anything, but this was only one of my imagination about this song, there can be different ideas, I also had many different ideas about this song, but I can say that it can make you feel things like: Honor, Love, Memories, War, and a Tragedy. please let me know what you can imagine when you are listening to this piece.
and then later I have found a Metal version of this song which it makes me feel more interested about it cause I always like to listen to covers which someone has added something new like this band which they have added lyrics to it and the vocalist is singing it professionally. okay guys check it out and let me know your ideas:
This is a new version of Swan Lake by Dark Moor, Dark Moor is a Spanish symphonic power metal band from Madrid, Listen:
I was about to forget about this A Capella version, This one is also great, This version was performed by The Agonist and it is only by one vocalist and no other instruments, The Agonists is a Canadian melodic metalcore band and this version of Swan Lake is in their second album: Lullabies for the Dormant Mind.
And before I leave, I have to add I also have a memory about this song when I was practicing it in my home studio and learning the notes, before I leave my home and go for Military services which it was a duty and rule and I did not went there by my own choose and when 3 months passed from the time I was in training camps, They sent me to another city to start my 2 years services in a big army camp, one day when I woke up in a saloon in the camp, the old small TV on the wall started playing Swan Lake while I was looking to my face in the mirror and thinking why am I here? :D haha This can be also why this song has some meaning to me :D but my ideas and imaginations which I wrote above are not related to what happened to me in past and it is only my feelings which I said about what I could imagine while I was listening to this song.
Thanks for reading this post, don't forget to tell me your idea about this song and write your ideas about it :)
Peace & Love!
