- My name is David Núñez, I currently live in Venezuela, a country where I am native. By profession, educator, graduated with honors, being the first academic index in the promotion of more than 300 students. I dominate Spanish as a native language and English that I learned in a self-taught way. After having a certain command of English, I took a level test at the Oxford Institute in Caracas, and I had 40% command of English, so I decided to take a course at the same institute.
The truth is that I like being an educator. I have taught at the primary levels (basic school), secondary (high school) and at the university level. The latter, because when I graduated with honors from the university, I was left with the option of being a facilitator at the same university. However, due to obligations personal, it was not possible for me to give continuity to the continuation of the activities on the university campus.

- Mi nombre es David Núñez, actualmente vivo en Venezuela, país del que soy nativo. De profesión, educador, graduado con honores, siendo el primer índice académico en la promoción de más de 300 estudiantes. Domino el español como idioma nativo y el inglés que aprendí de forma autodidacta. Luego de tener cierto dominio del inglés, presenté una prueba de niveles en el Instituto Oxford en Caracas, y dominaba el inglés en un 40%, por lo que decidí aprender en un curso en el mismo instituto.
La verdad es que me agrada ser educador. He dado clases en los niveles primario (escuela básica), secundario (bachillerato) y en el nivel universitario. Este último, porque al graduarme con honores de la universidad, quedé con la opción de ser facilitador en la misma universidad. Sin embargo, por obligaciones personales, no me fue posible dar continuidad a la prosecución de las actividades en el recinto universitario.
- Despite having studied education and having exercised it for pleasure and vocation for more than twelve years, I gave up doing it because I did not see productivity in the practice of it. And, understand well... it does not correspond to benefits of an economic nature, since I am a person with few demands and material ambitions. The reality is that when you try to do your best, and the system in which education is raised is so mediocre, you are disappointed.
For example, in Venezuela, the levels of demand in education are very low, which is why there are many graduates from different educational levels, but very little quality in the education they received. In the same way, the sense of belonging on the part of the students is almost non-existent, so when you get a student who really wants to be productive, the teaching process is truncated because you cannot do a particular level for said student. .
Due to this, and other personal reasons, such as the low morale that surrounds the places of study at the secondary level, I decided to resign from the educational system.
- A pesar de haber estudiado educación y de haberla ejercido por gusto y vocación por más de doce años, desistí de hacerlo por no ver productividad en la práctica de la misma. Y, entiéndase bien… no se corresponde a beneficios de carácter económico, pues soy una persona de pocas exigencias y ambiciones materiales. La realidad es que, cuando intentas dar lo mejor, y el sistema en el que está planteada la educación es tan mediocre, te decepcionas.
Por ejemplo, en Venezuela, los niveles de exigencia en materia educativa son muy bajos, razón por la que existen muchos egresados de los diferentes niveles educativos, pero muy poca calidad en la educación que recibieron. De la misma manera, el sentido de pertinencia por parte de los estudiantes es casi inexistente, por lo que, cuando consigues algún estudiante que realmente desea ser productivo, se trunca el proceso de enseñanza debido a que no puedes hacer un nivel particular para dicho estudiante.
Debido a esto, y demás razones personales, como la baja moral que circunda en los lugares de estudio del nivel secundario, decidí renunciar al sistema educativo.
- After the death of my younger brother (31 years old), who lived in Chile, just before the COVID-19 pandemic, and the death of my father from COVID-19 a few months ago, I was left in charge of the care of my mother, who is a cancer patient, because she has breast cancer, a condition with which she has been fighting for about three years. In Venezuela, the fight against diseases is uphill, since the low purchasing power and the shortage of medicines make it difficult for patients to recover.
However, a good attitude, hope and courage are never lacking, because when reading the Bible, an activity that I do daily, I know and understand that all the suffering that humanity suffers is about to end. Also, under no circumstances have I been able to consider myself unhappy, for I have always counted on the help of Jehovah God, the Creator of all that exists.
- Luego del fallecimiento de mi hermano menor (31 años de edad), que vivía en Chile, justo antes de la pandemia del COVID-19, y del fallecimiento de mi padre por COVID-19 hace unos meses, me quedé a cargo del cuidado de mi madre, quien es paciente oncológica, pues tiene cáncer de mamas, afección con la que viene luchando desde hace unos tres años. En Venezuela, la lucha contra las enfermedades se hace cuesta arriba, pues el bajo nivel adquisitivo y la escasez de medicamentos, dificulta la recuperación de los pacientes.
Sin embargo, nunca falta la buena actitud, la esperanza y el valor, pues, al leer la Biblia, actividad que hago diariamente, conozco y comprendo que todo el sufrimiento que padece la humanidad, está por culminar. Además, bajo ninguna circunstancia he podido considerarme desdichado, pues siempre he contado con la ayuda de Jehová Dios, el Creador de todo lo que existe.
Appreciating that fact, I am one of the many people who likes to appreciate the good in life, the good in others, in believing in the ability of human beings to improve, to achieve. Well, many times that belief has become a sharp and stabbing weapon, because when you open your feelings to others, thinking that they can be as genuine as you, one can get very hurt. One even ends up enclosing himself in a shell that tries to enclose you and completely distance you from the world around you.
Apreciando ese hecho, soy una de las muchas personas que le gusta apreciar lo bueno de la vida, lo bueno en los demás, en creer en la capacidad del ser humano por mejorar, por lograr. Vaya que, muchas veces ese creer se ha transformado en un arma filosa y punzante, pues, cuando abres tus sentimientos a otros, pensando que pueden ser tan genuinos como tú, puede uno salir muy herido. Incluso, termina uno encerrándose en un caparazón que procura encerrarte y distanciarte por completo del mundo que te rodea.

Being sensitive is one of my biggest flaws, not showing it is one of my biggest mistakes. I think I have said more than necessary, but at least those who give themselves the opportunity to read, it is possible that they will be able to understand why it is so difficult to find my face in any of the posts that I publish.
I appreciate your comments of encouragement and constructive criticism is welcome. Anything that contributes to the mutual enrichment and encouragement of all is something that will always have my support. By the way, I may be challenged to participate in activities that go against my conscience educated by the moral values found in the Bible, and I do not want to participate in them. For example, a few days ago I received a challenge regarding the activities of the day of love and friendship. However, such teaching contravenes the pure worship that only Jehovah God should receive.
By the way, this is my 'entry to Hive, after entering', because I had been publishing posts for days, only I did not know that I had to do this regulatory step. My apologies.
- En vista de lo anterior, es posible conocer personas que parecen ser antipáticas, toscas y hasta orgullosas, pero que, al conocerlas nos damos cuenta que fue un error de juicio, porque, todo lo contrario, son tímidas y temen ser heridas…
Ser sensible es uno de mis mayores defectos, no demostrarlo es de mis mayores errores. Creo que he hablado más de la cuenta, pero, al menos quienes se den la oportunidad de leer, es posible que logren comprender el porqué es tan difícil encontrar mi rostro en ninguno de los post que publico.
Aprecio sus comentarios de ánimo y las críticas constructivas son bienvenidas. Todo lo que contribuya al enriquecimiento mutuo y el estímulo de todos, es algo que siempre contará con mi apoyo. Por cierto, es posible que reciba retos para participar en actividades que van en contra de mi conciencia educada por los valores morales que se encuentran en la Biblia, y no deseo participar en ellas. Por ejemplo, hace unos días recibí un reto referente a las actividades del día del amor y la mistad. No obstante, dicha enseñanza contraviene la adoración pura que solo Jehová Dios debe recibir.
Por cierto, esta es mi ‘entrada a Hive, después de entrar’, porque ya llevaba días publicando posts, solo que no sabía que debía hacer este paso reglamentario. Mis disculpas.
