Entering another half of the month this week and with half of the year already over, what ave we accomplished so far in our personal goals? Have we started picking ourselves up from the past two years of living in a pandemic? Well one thing's for sure, time passes by faster than we expect, so it's better to feel good about yourself when checking some things of the to-do list every now and then--- which I felt how @marioikada genuinely expressed his enthusiasm in adopting his first radiated tortoise-- a childhood dream of his, as he pointed out, achieved! d(´o▽o`)b | |

Other ways of feeling accomplished may come in forms of gaming, aside from goals in the form of missions, I've seen there to be quite the rise of play-to-earn games around the blockchain platform, the latest discovery of which is this racing game as shared by @poggersdude. Though the gameplay vid as sampled in this post is far from being Asphalt 9 level gaming, it does make me reminisce of the good 'ol arcade games, driving behind a make-believe steering wheel and gear shift. If you're more of a get-out-there sort of person compared to staying seated on a gaming chair, than picking up on that number of steps per day is as good as it gets especially with a side of adventure and discovery of this old village inside a modern city as shared by @tatdt which I find fascinating how it's both parallel and interspersed with a nearby modern commute, and yet crossing a bridge across a small stream-- much like a path to Terabithia-- could lead to such an enchanting find! Speaking of walking achievements, if you're not much for the outdoors, then it's about time to reconsider getting back indoors to be welcomed by this pair of fluffy knitted slippers as made by @bridget90 with which you can make your own pair of, if you're so inclined to have your feet encased in warm, fluffy comfort while also getting the last few paces of your walk inside the safety of your home. And our last passing words for the week in order to see our goals are through is the first step it takes to actually want to make a difference in your every day life-- we should not let fear get the best of us and learn to somehow understand and manage fear much like how @temileke shared with us this insightful article for reading with a lasting quote, "The moment you begin to discover you are dwelling in constant failure everytime, try to shrink it off or either make use of it positively to achieve success in life. | ![]() |
Again a huge heartfelt thanks to all of you who have posted such amazing content. I hope to include you all in future Roundup posts!
For now, this ESM (Epic, Smile, Maker) is signing off.
Have a great day!
