The greatest source of happiness is the ability to be grateful at all times.
I was on a transit from Abuja to Zaria when the driver engaged in a conversation with a man who was sitting in the front seat with him. One thing the driver told the man that I held dearly was that he is grateful for whatever he makes in a day no matter how small it was and the mystery behind his gratitude is that he uses the small money to do something big that people who earn much have not achieved.
If we need reasons to be unhappy and ungrateful, life will give you numerous reasons to stay unhappy and one of them is never content with as much as we get. The reason why people are often sad is ingratitude.. ungrateful for what they have and always seeking more. Even if some people have all the wealth the world has, they'll still not be grateful and this is the root of unhappiness in life. Most often we are unhappy because we fail to see the blessings in that which we have, every level we are right now is someone's prayer point and this alone is worth being grateful for.
The greatest source of happiness is our ability to be grateful at all times. The process may not look like it, we may fail at some points, our hope may be dashed on the wall, we may fast at one point, suffer discrimination, but if we are grateful at all times, then happiness would build its nest next to us. Happiness is not far fetched, its source lies in our mindset because the issues of life arise from within. Be content and grateful at all times even when things are bad and good, and we'll have reason to be happy even when others don't see a reason to.
