Everything you’ve ever wanted is on the other side of fear
People who play life safely, avoiding risk most often don't get everything they desire. The things built today were as a result of one or more men who overcame their fears and took the risk. Not everything in life comes smoothly, in fact, 80 percent of things we desire in life are hidden in the other side of fear. All we need to do is feel the fear and do it anyways - this has been my way of overcoming fear. Life isn't roses, the roses in life hold just a little portion of things we desire, behind the thorns are things we had ever desired, but one needs to overcome his fear first to face the thorns.
The story of the three lepers who sat at the exit of Jerusalem, forsaken, hungry, and forbidden, remains one inspiring story I have read in the bible. The leper had just a few choices, they were hungry and may not get food if they continued to sit there. The only available place where food was in abundance was in the camp of their enemies who had set siege against them. The villagers were in famine but everyone feared the army who had chariots and battle tools. It came to a conclusion by the lepers when they said, "If we die we die, but we wouldn't sit here and die". A very bold decision to give it all to face their fear.
The lepers walked to their enemy's camp, but as they walked into the territory, the army could only hear rushing footsteps of horses and chariots and they flew. This is an indication that what holds us back from achieving our goals and reaching our desires is fear. Everything you've ever wanted is on the other side of fear, conquer it, only until then can you grasp the many treasures fear has hidden from you.
