Aprendí macramé desde muy pequeña. Tenía unos 10 años cuando conocí esta técnica de la artesanía. Hacia pulseras para luego venderlas los fines de semana con mis primos en el campo donde vivían nuestros abuelos.
Desde entonces se convirtió en parte de mi vida y a lo largo de los años he aprendido que es un arte que va mucho más allá de una simple pulsera.
Podemos hacer un sin fin de cosas y es lo que me gustaría compartirles en mis próximas publicaciones.
El día de hoy les traigo un tutorial para hacer esta linda pluma, hecha con hilos en la técnica del macramé.
La estaremos usando en otro proyecto, pero es importante que antes aprendas muy bien a hacerla para que luego avancemos al siguiente nivel.
Solo necesitas hilo, un peine y tijeras. Una vez tengas todo esto es momento de iniciar con nuestro tutorial. 😊

I learned macramé from a very young age. I was about 10 years old when I discovered this craft technique. I made bracelets to later sell them on weekends with my cousins in the countryside where our grandparents lived.
Since then it has become part of my life and over the years I have learned that it is an art that goes far beyond a simple bracelet.
We can do endless things and that is what I would like to share with you in my next posts.
Today I bring you a tutorial to make this beautiful feather, made with threads in the macramé technique.
We will be using it in another project, but it is important that you first learn how to do it very well so that we can then advance to the next level.
You just need thread, a comb and scissors. Once you have all this, it is time to start with our tutorial. 😊
- Estambre, preferiblemente de 3 o 4 hebras.
- Peine
- Tijeras
- Esfera de plástico
- Yarn, preferably 3 or 4 strands.
- Hair comb
- Pair of scissors
- Plastic sphere
Esta será una pluma colorida, para ello he utilizado como base un hilo blanco con pequeños detalles de color con estambre azul y rosa.
Cortamos dos tiras de estambre blanco, de unos 30 centímetros de largo para la base.
Unas 24 tiras de 10 centímetros de color blanco, 6 tiras en azul y 6 rosa.
This will be a colorful feather, for this I have used a white thread as a base with small details of color with blue and pink yarn.
We cut two strips of white yarn, about 30 centimeters long for the base.
About 24 strips of 10 centimeters in white, 6 strips in blue and 6 pink.
En la base de la pluma vamos a colocar una cuenta de plástico, el color lo eliges según tus gustos y los tonos a utilizar en la pluma.
Una forma sencilla de introducir los hilos en ella es empleando un hilo más fino, el cual vamos a colocar justo a la mitad de los hilos base, luego introducimos la esfera de plástico en él y la vamos corriendo hasta posicionarla, tal como se muestra en las fotografías.
Hacemos un nudo en la parte superior para asegurarnos que no se vaya a salir.
At the base of the pen we are going to place a plastic bead, you choose the color according to your tastes and the tones to use in the pen.
A simple way to introduce the threads in it is using a finer thread, which we are going to place right in the middle of the base threads, then we introduce the plastic sphere in it and we run it until it is positioned, as shown in the pictures.
We tie a knot at the top to make sure it doesn't come off.
Es momento de darle forma a la pluma. Tomamos uno a uno las tiras de 10 centímetros, iniciando con las de color blanco.
Doblamos a la mitad y colocamos debajo de los hilos de base. Tomamos los extremos e introducimos dentro de la barriguita que se nos hace al otro costado.
Ajustamos bien. Ahora tomamos otra tira y esta vez pondremos los extremos del lado opuesto. Así crearemos la secuencia de un nudo a la derecha y uno a la izquierda.
Repetimos este proceso hasta haber montado 8 puntos blancos.
It's time to shape the pen. We take the 10 centimeter strips one by one, starting with the white ones.
We fold in half and place under the foundation threads. We take the ends and introduce them into the tummy that is made on the other side.
We fit well. Now we take another strip and this time we will put the ends of the opposite side. This will create the sequence of one knot on the right and one on the left.
We repeat this process until we have mounted 8 white dots.
Ahora pasando al color colocamos una tira azul de un lado y una rosa del otro. Así vamos alternando con los hilos blancos hasta lograr un diseño.
Now moving on to color, we place a blue strip on one side and a pink strip on the other. This is how we alternate with the white threads until we achieve a design.
Utilizamos un peine de cerdas pequeñas para "peinar" los hilos. Debemos separar las hebras de todas las tiras.
We use a small bristle comb to 'comb' the threads. We must separate the threads of all the strips.
Como último paso, le daremos forma a la pluma cortando las hebras hasta darle la forma deseada.
El ancho lo defines tú. A mi me gusta que queden gorditas. 😊
