Hello dear people of hive and the GEMS community, I hope you are having a good day, I want to tell you a story about my childhood with my dad.
Mi papá toda su vida ha sido un aficionado de la pesca, esto siempre ha sido una pasión para él, así que desde pequeño me ha llevado con él a sus viajes y me ha enseñado esto que tanto le gusta. Cuando era un niño mi papá me llevaba a pescar con él, siempre ibamos a una represa que queda en Barinas - Venezuela, la mayoría de veces tenía que pagar una lancha que nos diera el recorrido para poder pescar, pero igual pasabamos un buen tiempo de padre e hijo y era una gran diversión.
My dad has been a fishing enthusiast all his life, this has always been a passion for him, so since I was a child he has taken me with him on his trips and taught me this that he loves so much. When I was a kid my dad used to take me fishing with him, we always went to a dam that is in Barinas - Venezuela, most of the time he had to pay for a boat to give us the trip so we could fish, but we still had a good time as father and son and it was a lot of fun.
Acampabamos en una casa que alquilaba un amigo de mi papá, y de tantas veces que íbamos hicimos una gran amistad con este señor y su familia, así que el hijo de este buen amigo también se unió a la pesca con nosotros, tiene la misma edad que yo así que hicimos una buena amistad también.
We were camping in a house rented by a friend of my dad, and from the many times we went there we made a great friendship with this man and his family, so the son of this good friend also joined the fishing with us, he is the same age as me so we made a good friendship too.
También nos llevaba a mi hermano y a mi juntos para compartir un gran tiempo los 3 como familia, eran momentos muy divertidos y que siempre son recordados, nos llevaba a lagunas donde nos dejaban pescar cierta cantidad de pescados, estos eran llamados Cachamas.
He also took my brother and me together to share a great time the 3 of us as a family, they were very funny moments and they are always remembered, he took us to lagoons where they let us fish a certain amount of fish, these were called Cachamas.
Luego de un tiempo mi papá compró su primera lancha, este fue un momento muy alegre para nosotros ya que no pagaríamos más lancha y podíamos ir a donde nosotros quisieramos, el primer viaje que hicimos fue a la misma represa que normalmente vamos, y aprendimos a manejar bien esta lancha a parte de que estabamos muy felices pescando. En las fotos pueden verme liberando un pequeño Pavón ya que a mi papá nunca le gustaba atrapar peces pequeños.
After a while my dad bought his first boat, this was a very happy moment for us since we would not pay for any more boat and we could go wherever we wanted. The first trip we made was to the same dam we usually go, and we learned how to handle this boat well apart from the fact that we were very happy fishing. In the photos you can see me releasing a small Pavón since my dad never liked to catch small fish.
Al pasar el tiempo mi papá vendió la lancha y ya después compró otra mejor y más grande, pero lastimosamente no pude disfrutar casi de ella con mi padre porque ya no tenía tiempo como antes debido a mis estudios, solo podía ir cuando tenía vacaciones, y ya la mayoria del tiempo mi papá iba solo o con mi hermano mayor
As time went by, my dad sold the boat and later bought a bigger and better one, but unfortunately I couldn't enjoy it with my father because I didn't have the time I used to have due to my studies, I could only go when I was on vacation, and most of the time my dad went alone or with my older brother
