This lovely morning I wanna share with us how I create this new bag design from the beginning. I'm hardly pleased with most of my finished work but this, I can say I'm pleased with it. It took me hours before I finish making the two bags. The are of the same design but I used different leather. By the time I finished the bag, it was 3am this morning but I can say it's worth it.
For the materials, I used same set of materials I used before just that I used chain for its handle instead of Maco or Rope.
THE MATERIALS INCLUDE:
- Leather-board
- Chip-board
- Leather of choice
- Eyelet
- Bottom pins
- Suade material
PROCESS
The process is quite simple, I made the pattern, cut it out on the leatherboard, gum the leather with the leatherboard, gummed the suade lining with the capped leather, fixed the lock and eyelet, then stitch the sides with the main body ofnthe bag. Once the bag was ready, I put the leather rope inside the chain and I fixed it inside the eyelet of the bag.
