I heard about the Hive.blog platform 3 years ago in a forum. It was written that when you write a blog, vote on other users' posts and comment, you earn money. Honestly, I didn't really believe it. But I wanted to try. Since I was someone who doesn't like to be seen too much on social media, I was not someone who showed myself in the blocks I wrote. I had nothing to lose and I decided to write an article. At that time, there were more generous users in hive.blog. I had 10-15 upvotes in 1 hour and that made me very happy. Actually, I liked the fact that the article I wrote was loved rather than making money.
Later, I wanted to research the hive.blog platform more and profit from it. I wrote new blogs day by day. I shared photos from places I visited. Later, by reading the articles written on hive.blog, I learned that there are bots that gave positive votes on hive.blog. You send them 1-2 HBDs or Hives and they upvote you. I did not understand the logic of this very well. :) I still don't know why the owners of these bots are doing something like this. I don't know if there are still boots on Hive.blog. Back then, I used to tamper with open source programs. There was a community called Utopian. When you translate open source code programs into other languages, it was sending you hbd. Back then, there were not many competitions like now.
After 2-3 months, I received a payment to my crypto account. I was very happy. Then I understood better that it was possible to make money from here. Later, utopian and similar communities left hive.blog, and therefore many users abandoned hive.blog. The Hive Dollar had dropped in value and users no longer wanted to share. The blogs I wrote were not getting votes as before, and I left the Hive.blog platform because this depressed my morale.
Years have passed and now I regret it. I wish I would continue and raise my hive reputation score even higher. Now I see that users with high reputation points earn very good profits. Many of them did not let go of the hive and continued. They are enjoying it now.
Finally I decided to go back to hive. The system has changed a bit. Communities have been opened and TRX is now being earned. This got me excited again. I share in some communities. Whenever I have time, I share the photos I take and blogs I write. For now, I am like a beginner hive user and I need to research a lot of things. I am reading some articles on this subject. I really like the articles written by dear @ dobartim. I try to read every article he writes. My favorite community for now is 'Steem Schools'. I follow the competitions and activities here, but I cannot participate in most of them because I do not have much time. Many users respond to comments and support us. I hope hive will be a more lucrative platform for new users as before.
If old users turn back to hive, hive may be a more valuable platform. I can't win right now, but I hope I will over time. I wanted to talk a little bit about the old hive for new users. Good luck everyone. Don't stop blogging and sharing.
By the way, the photo belongs to me. I liked it very much and wanted to share it. :)
