Aha! The new week has arrived!
The husband was astonished when he realized this morning that it's already May. He couldn't believe how fast the time went by and he is yet to date me, lol!
Anyway, the following photos are mementos of things past. They were captured during a quick adventure in Croco Loco many years back in Zoobic Safari Park, specifically in their so-called "Bone Muzooeum."
These are just a few decent photos taken on said trip and let me just say wee things about them.
Ostrich Eggs

I have never seen Ostrich eggs prior to this visit and was fascinated of how large they actually are!

Ostrich Skeleton
Beautiful skeletal system, don't you think? It's amazing how such a flightless bird stand so beautifully tall and proud.

Bengal Tiger Skeletal Remains
Bengal Tiger is a type which is said to be amongst the wildest cats alive today.

Damara Sheep Bones
It is interesting to learn that this type of sheep is raised mainly for meat production. I have yet to see a live version.

Dorper Sheep bones
Another domestic fast-growing sheep for meat production. They are said to be the second most common sheep breed in South Africa. Wikipedia

Billy Goat
Domesticated species that are typically kept as livestock for milk and cheese sources.

Sheep Master Skeleton
They are one of those breeds of domestic sheep with very fine soft wool.

It is noteworthy to include that the 25-hectare safari park offers a wide array of attractions in the jungle including face-to-face encounters with real tigers; Croco Loco - where hundreds of crocodiles thrive, a serpentarium, Aetas Trail and many other interesting sights to see.
I believe the zoo had since been improved and upgraded so hopefully we will be able to go on a full adventure in the very near future and have a close encounter with the real jungle beasts which we didn't get to experience on our impromptu side trip.
That's it for now. Thank you and have a wonderful new week ahead!
