Former Real Madrid super star Antonio Gento dies at age 80, this was announced by the club on Saturday.
Antonio Gento a brother to six time Eurpean cup winner Paco Gento the present honorary president in the Spanish Capital club, was a well known player at the club during the season of 1961-1962.
During his stay, he won a league title and a Spanish cup.
The club through its social media sent condolences to friends and families of the deceased, and citing his vital contribution for the club during his stay.
"Real madrid, its president and board of directors, are saddened by the passing of Antonio" the statement said.
Antonio Gento also played for Oviedo, Levante and Racing Santander
