What's the goal?
BeeToons TV promotes, and helps you to find the best new indie Animators (no bigdog publishers allowed). My goal is to get the Indie's the exposure and income that they deserve!
Hours of comedy, anime, stop-motion, shorts, inspirational, memes, stories, sand art, superheroes, flip-books, rotoscope, parodies, even 3D and tutorials... all with NO ADS. (youtube really ticks me off)
The weekly "Trending" page is not put together by any human "fact checker" either. The Hive reputation score, along with the number of actual views, is what decides which videos and Animators are the best for that week...
How does it work?
Hosting the videos for the Animators is very expensive, but I recently installed the "Hive-Tube" plugin and now all the p2p streaming video can be monetized so that you can vote on and tip your favorite videos/creators.
BeeToons TV now uses this awesome plugin from: Hive-Tube.com
Emailing with the Animators, many of them have agreed to include a link to their channel in their video descrips (similar to how vigilante.tv did it) and mention their channel on social media. That should bring a lot of new users to Hive!
Initially, a few users won't want a Hive account out of legal fears or whatever, but for those that register a Hive username, I'm doing my best to show everyone how to secure their keys, manage their earnings and stuff so I'll keep payouts declined a bit longer. Over the coming weeks I am contacting many more Animators, so stay tuned!
I want to bring a LOT more people to Hive. How?
- The Animators are so happy to get some free promotion for their videos, so giving the search engines and their followers one more place where their videos can be found is a great thing, especially if their followers can earn too.. Youtube doesn't pay their followers anything for commenting.
- Many of the Animators have millions of followers, so I hope to see at least a few % of them joining Hive too, so that they can comment on videos and earn. Everybody wants some extra income these days.
- Give Youtube some serious competition. Their de-monetization, narrative agenda, shadow-banning, censorship, outright bans and other nasty tricks literally bury the Indie artists. BeeToons TV sets the new standard... and WITHOUT ADS :)
