Good afternoon dear friends of Hive, I haven't posted to you these days because I've been a bit busy with classes and my shift yesterday. Today I'll be telling you about my day at the hospital doing a 24-hour shift
Las mañanas en el hospital suelen ser bastante movidas, estuve tomando signos vitales y atendiendo personas por un buen rato hasta que tocó ir a almorzar.
Mornings at the hospital are usually pretty hectic, I was taking vital signs and seeing people for quite a while until it was time to go to lunch.
Luego ya en la tarde llegaron varios pacientes que ocupaban un poco más de atención, los estabilizamos y mantuvimos en observación.
Later in the afternoon, several patients arrived who required a little more attention, we stabilized them and kept them under observation.
Ya en la noche a la hora de cenar, salimos a comprar comida con permiso de los doctores, pocas veces nos dejan salir de esa manera y pues fue bastante entretenido.
At night, at dinner time, we went out to buy food with the doctors' permission. They rarely let us go out like that and it was quite entertaining.
Cuando volvimos de comprar cena, seguimos atendiendo pacientes y luego de eso fuimos a cenar.
When we came back from buying dinner, we continued seeing patients and after that we went to dinner.
Tomamos el primer turno que es de 10pm a 2am, ya antes de las 12am mis compañeras estaban cansadas y casi dormidas, pero tratábamos de mantenernos despiertas hablando para distraernos.
Se hizo la hora de entregar tuno y nos fuimos a descansar.
We took the first shift, which is from 10pm to 2am. Before 12am, my colleagues were tired and almost asleep, but we tried to stay awake by talking to distract ourselves. It was time to hand in our shifts and we went to rest.
A la mañana siguiente nos tocó evolucionar y presentar pacientes en la revista médica, de ahí nos sellaron y firmaron nuestra hoja de asistencia y nos dejaron ir.
The next morning we had to progress and present patients in the medical journal, from there they stamped and signed our attendance sheet and let us go.
Yo por mi parte llegué a descansar, estaba agotada pero me decidí a postearles hoy, espero les haya gustado, un saludito y nos vemos en un nuevo post.
