I woke up with a lot of enthusiasm and energy to face this new day. As I was about to go to sleep last night, I received a message from my supervisor that I had to be at a training session first thing in the morning. So when I got up my mother also stood up to help me with a cup of coffee and breakfast. It's amazing the moments of connection with my mother, no matter how small and not everyday they may seem, have been meaningful to me, especially after 18 years of being separated. It is beautiful to see how you can now share everyday moments like making coffee together and having her as my companion and support.
Me he levantado con mucho entusiasmo y energía para enfrentar este nuevo día. Ya que cuando me disponia a dormirca noche , recibi un mensaje de mi supervisor, que debia estar a primera horacen una formación. Asi quecal levantarme mi madre también se puso en pie de batalla para ayudarme con unactaza de cafe y desayuno. Es increíble los momentos de conexión con mi madre por pequeños no cotidianos que parezcan han sido significativos para mi, especialmente después de 18 años de estar separadas. Es bello ver cómo ahora puedes compartir momentos cotidianos como preparar café juntos y tenerla como mi compañera y apoyo.
I always say that planning is important but this can change in the blink of an eye as I told you so well the night before, when I thought it was time to rest after an exhausting day. I went to bed at 11 p.m., thinking that my next day would be a quieter day and maybe I could sleep a little more because I would be working in the afternoon.
