Yesterday marked the beginning of my vacation, and although it started with a little misunderstanding, it ended up being an unforgettable day filled with music, ice cream and quality time with my family.
It all started when my little cousin informed me that his musical group in town was going to give a concert to say goodbye to the vacations. His parents sent out a digital invitation for the family to attend, and my mother, daughter and I prepared to enjoy an evening with a difference.
However, when we arrived at the venue, we had a good laugh because my mom had misread the date of the event. The card said “Thursday the 31st”, but we left early on Wednesday the 30th. We didn't miss the trip! After we ate some ice cream, we found a dance academy that was also celebrating their end-of-year farewell with some samples of what they teach the girls. It was great to see them dance and have a different time with my family.
Despite the wrong start, that day reminded me that vacations are the perfect time to unwind, relax and create memories with loved ones. And although we didn't know it, we ended up having an even more special experience than we had planned.
Let's hope that now that the right date has arrived we can attend the concert and live another fun experience with no mistakes. I try to enjoy with my family every moment we spend together to the fullest as life reminded me and highlighted with much incapie that nothing lasts forever and overnight everything but absolutely everything can change.

Ayer marcó el inicio de mis vacaciones, y aunque comenzó con un pequeño malentendido, terminó siendo una jornada inolvidable llena de música, helado y tiempo de calidad con mi familia.
Todo comenzó cuando mi pequeño primo me informó que su grupo musical en la ciudad iba a dar un concierto para despedirse de las vacaciones. Sus padres enviaron una invitación digital para que la familia asistiera, y mi madre, mi hija y yo nos preparamos para disfrutar de una tarde diferente.
Sin embargo, cuando llegamos al lugar, nos reímos mucho porque mi mamá había leído mal la fecha de la actividad. La tarjeta decía "jueves 31", pero nos fuimos el miércoles 30 con anticipación. ¡No perdimos el viaje! Después de comernos un helado, encontramos una academia de baile que también estaba celebrando su despedida de fin de curso con algunas muestras de lo que enseñan a las niñas. Fue genial verlas bailar y pasar un rato diferente con mi familia.
A pesar del inicio equivocado, esa jornada me recordó que las vacaciones son el momento perfecto para desconectar, relajarse y crear recuerdos con los seres queridos. Y aunque no lo sabíamos, terminamos teniendo una experiencia aún más especial del que habíamos planificado.
Esperemos ver si ya que llego la fecha correcta podemos asistir al concierto y vivir otra divertida experiencia sin equivocaciones. Trato de disfrutar on mi familia cada momento que pasamos juntas al máximo ya que la vida me recordó y resaltó con mucho incapie que nada dura para siempre y de la noche a la mañana todo pero absolutamente todo puede cambiar.
