¡Hola amigos! espero que hayan tenido una grandiosa celebración de año nuevo y que este año tengan buenos propósitos que, con la venia de Dios, alcancen el éxito. El día de hoy quiero aceptar la invitación de mi amigo @ismalegranados para unirme a esta iniciativa en la cuál les estaré contando como fue mi 2021 con Hive.
Hello friends! I hope you had a great New Year's celebration and that this year you have good resolutions that, with God's blessing, will achieve success. Today I want to accept the invitation of my friend @ismalegranados to join this initiative in which I will be telling you how was my 2021 with Hive.
¿Qué les puedo decir? El año 2021 para mi, al igual que para muchas personas fue un año duro ya que perdí a una de mis tías (a las cuales amo como si fuesen mis madres) a causa de la pandemia, y para colmo de males perdí mi empleo cuando me contagié con el virus (no volvieron a llamarme para que regresara luego de darme la licencia de reposo) sin embargo, el 2021 también fue año de logros y aprendizaje en todos los sentidos, sobre todo desde que mi hermana @Bethyjade me insistió en entrar a @Hiveblog.
What can I tell you? The year 2021 for me, as for many people was a tough year as I lost one of my aunts (whom I love as if they were my mothers) because of the pandemic, and to top it off I lost my job when I got infected with the virus (they didn't call me back to come back after giving me a leave of absence) however, 2021 was also a year of achievements and learning in every way, especially since my sister @Bethyjade insisted me to join @Hiveblog.
Al principio yo estaba un poco reticente al respecto porque no sabía qué tipo de contenido debía subir, me gusta hacer muchas cosas y no sabía si yo debía decidirme por subir solo un tipo de contenido en específico, pero luego me deshice de complejos y decidí ser yo misma. Me gusta hacer de todo un poco, a veces canto (de vez en cuando posteo algunos covers) otras veces escribo artículos sobre cosas que me llaman la atención, disfruto haciendo video documentales de temas interesantes, en especial los que tienen que ver con Egipto, y una de las cosas que más disfruto es escribir mis novelas y compartirlas con ustedes.
At the beginning I was a bit reluctant about it because I didn't know what kind of content I should upload, I like to do many things and I didn't know if I should decide to upload only a specific type of content, but then I got rid of my complexes and decided to be myself. I like to do a bit of everything, sometimes I sing (from time to time I post some covers), sometimes I write articles about things that catch my attention, I enjoy making video documentaries about interesting topics, especially those that have to do with Egypt, and one of the things I enjoy the most is writing my novels and sharing them with you.
Hive ha cambiado mi vida porque, no solo se ha convertido en mi fuente de ingreso luego de perder mi empleo, ingresos que he obtenido gracias al apoyo de la gente hermosa que le ha gustado mi contenido y el de las comunidades que me han ayudado a crecer, pero también he hecho amigos como @ismaelgranados @chacald.dcymt y @estebanuto, personas grandiosas que además suben contenido de calidad y siempre están dispuestos a brindarte apoyo y cariño. ¡Qué Dios los bendiga este nuevo año, que lleve sus vidas con salud, felicidad, paz, amor y prósperidad para ellos y sus familias! ¡Mucho éxito, amigos!
Hive has changed my life because, not only has it become my source of income after losing my job, income that I have obtained thanks to the support of the beautiful people who have liked my content and that of the communities that have helped me grow, but I have also made friends like @ismaelgranados @chacald. dcymt and @estebanuto, great people who also upload quality content and are always ready to give you support and affection. Hive mantiene mis días ocupados, trabajando en lo que tanto me gusta hacer, por eso no me importa pasar horas en la PC mientras investigo en busca de información o estoy editando algún video, porque me siento plena, porque por primera vez en mi vida me siento creativa y conforme con lo que estoy haciendo. Eso sí, no es fácil cuando vives en un país donde constantemente hay cortes de energía eléctrica o fallas de internet, pero gracias a Dios siempre he encontrado la manera de hacer mi trabajo, para ello me organizo y sobre todo tengo disciplina y responsabilidad.
Hive keeps my days busy, working on what I love to do so much, so I don't mind spending hours at the PC while researching for information or editing a video, because I feel fulfilled, because for the first time in my life I feel creative and happy with what I'm doing. Of course, it's not easy when you live in a country where there are constant power cuts or internet failures, but thank God I have always found a way to do my work, for that I organise myself and above all I have discipline and responsibility.
Hive ha sido una ventana al mundo, me gusta ver lo que otras personas publican, leer sus historias de superación, como en una ocasión cuando leí que un muchacho había perdido casi todas sus pertenencias en el tifón Rai en Filipinas y él aspiraba compartir con todos sus vecinos las ganancias que obtuviera en su post, fue un gesto altruista que movió mi corazón y afortunadamente comprobé que logró su cometido con una buena recompensa.
Hive has been a window to the world, I like to see what other people post, read their stories of overcoming, as on one occasion when I read that a guy had lost almost all his belongings in the typhoon Rai in Philippines and he aspired to share with all his neighbours the profits he made on his post, it was an altruistic gesture that moved my heart and fortunately I found that he achieved his goal with a good reward.
Si me preguntaran cual ha sido el favorito de mis post, les diría que no puedo decidirme entre dos de ellos, el primero fue uno en el cuál participé en un concurso de canto a capella con una canción en francés de Edith Piaf, yo no había tenido contacto con ese idioma desde que lo estudié en la secundaria, así que tuve que practicar mucho mi dicción pero aunque no fue fácil, creo que lo logré. Lo mejor de todo es que me divertí en el proceso mientras practicaba todos los días.
If you were to ask me which has been my favourite of my posts, I would tell you that I can't decide between two of them, the first was one in which I participated in an a cappella singing contest with a song in French by Edith Piaf, I hadn't had contact with that language since I studied it in high school, so I had to practice a lot my diction but although it wasn't easy, I think I managed to do it. Best of all, I had fun in the process as I practiced every day.
El otro que me gustó fue un documental que hice recientemente acerca de Aushwitz, uno de los peores campos de concentración y exterminio del holocausto, aunque lamentablemente me he dado cuenta de que a las personas no les llama la atención ese tipo de contenido, sin embargo lo sigo haciendo porque es algo que me apasiona.
The other one I liked was a documentary I recently made about Aushwitz, one of the worst concentration and extermination camps of the holocaust, although unfortunately I have realised that people are not attracted to that kind of content, but I still do it because it's something I'm passionate about.
Y de los post de otras personas que he leído, creo que mi favorito es el de la persona que les mencioné anteriormente, el chico de Filipinas, porque me ayudó a sentirme motivada al ver que hay personas que luchan por salir adelante cada día, con muchas más dificultades que las mías pero aún así no se rinden.
And of the other people's posts I have read, I think my favourite is the one by the person I mentioned earlier, the guy from the Philippines, because it helped me feel motivated to see that there are people who struggle to get ahead every day, with many more difficulties than mine but still they don't give up.
