I went to buy fuel today and bought some sweets from the supermarket next to the pump.
Some of my favorites were out. Next to me, there were two little boys wearing bike helmets and carrying school bags discussing the quality of various sweets on the shelves. They were maybe eight or nine years old.
I decided it was time to leverage the domain expertise these two had without the slightest shadow of doubt. I remember how my daughter would run to the candy aisle at the nearest supermarket with her friends after school on their way home every day. She's too old now to ask for advice in this regard.
But at the supermarket next to me, a goldmine of useful information was available.
When I asked if they could recommend something sour and good, they gladly pointed out a few candidates. One particular kind that I was about to take was not sour according to them.
One of the said his mother worked at a candy factory. I told him that if he was lucky, his mother's fringe benefits would keep him well stocked.
These were good and an exact match to my specifications!
