This is a repost of a post I made on March 20 2019. The snow was melting rapidly. The cat enjoyed running around the yard, which she is not very fond of doing at present because of the large amount of snow and the sub-freezing temperature. She'll go out but want to come back in just 10-15 minutes.

I had to think hard about what to shoot today. An opportunity presented itself when the sun came out and I let the cat out. As you can see, snow is melting rapidly and while the lawn is covered by snow, the sides of the house and the patio are largely snow free. Our cat loves to go out and seems to want to spend longer and longer times out. She usually does not venture very far off our property.
Look to the right.
And to the left.
The prize for eternal vigilance is freedom ... or something.
"There will not be a mouse revolution in my estate!"
The sides of the house are now completely clear of snow.
Intruders under the patio?

Make a portrait of me already.
Vigilant as always
I kept throwing small chunks of ice onto the snow to get her attention.
All too easy.
