In Nigeria we have different types of food crops which are readily available at this point in time it is also known for some to be common. Common in the sense that you can easily have access to even when you are in a tight corner meaning that you can easily walk across the street and you see some food stuffs which are fresh from the source. With the little knowledge I have on days most of the food crops which are perishable are not chemically grown. On several occasions I've made conversations with the seller of this fresh vegetables and their conclusion was that all this foodstuff that are perishables are grown organically in some State in Nigeria. Which I believe.
- So many years ago when I was in Minna,Niger State. I was privileged to live in a very wide range farmland environment which was used to plant mainly Millet 🌾🌾, chili pepper 🌶️🌶️, bell pepper 🫑🫑 and also Maize 🌽🌽. These are the main crops that was Grown at that particular time so I know more about all these planting of foodstuffs in the northern part of Nigeria is always grown naturally without the addition of chemicals. So this was the pictures I took few days ago when I had an encounter with the tomato and pepper seller along the street. So I would like to ask questions like which of the perishables do you have in abundance in your own environment?
THE TOMATO 🍅🍅🍒.
- Now at the moment we have different types of tomatoes in the market also in the street can equally do the same task as soup preparation or pepper egg sauce.
We have these tomatoes in different sizes according to your own individual discretion about the purchase. What you need to do is to buy the tomatoes according to your own quantitative personality. If you have the ability and capability baskets in bulk, it is allowednas seen.
THE PEPPER ZONE.
- Like you all know that bell pepper, chili pepper, green pepper,black pepper are of different species depending on which ever you want for individual purposes. So this is the type of bell pepper we have at the moment.
THE RED ONIONS 🧅🧅.
- These are the red onions. Most people to find the red onions to the white onion due to personal reasons. But I prefer both in soup, sauce, and planting too.
- This is the chili pepper Zone because we also have this according to the type of hotness. We have some chili pepper which are not very hot in soup or sauce. They are of moderate taste. Where is we have some other species of chili pepper that are extremely hot. You just need a few pieces of the chili pepper to make your own soup, sauce or whatever you wish. And you are good to go.
No matter how far you go in local market you will see the production of both the tomatoes The Bell pepper the chili pepper and onions with ease.
