Hi Hivers I hope you're doing well! Today is a day of rest, a day where there is a lot of rain and cold in the city, I got up late and could rest, since it is my day off from work.
Sin embargo algo que nunca falta y que siempre te ataca cuando estás más a gusto es el hambre, eran casi las 2:00 PM y yo que solo había desayunado fruta, sentía como mi estómago se retorcía, aún así hoy mis ganas de cocinar fueron afectadas por la lluvia y amanecieron dormidas, es por eso que decidí pedir algo en un restaurante por delivery.
However something that never fails and always attacks you when you are more comfortable is hunger, it was almost 2:00 PM and I had only eaten fruit for breakfast, I felt my stomach twisting, yet today my desire to cook was affected by the rain and woke up asleep, that's why I decided to order something in a restaurant by delivery.
Yo soy fan de la comida asiática y a pesar de eso nunca había probado el Ramen, por lo que fue mi primera opción al momento de elegir, por ello quiero compartir con ustedes el Unboxing y preparación de mi primer Ramen, aquellos que lo han probado saben que es un sabor único y a los que no y tienen la posibilidad les digo háganlo no se arrepentirán.
I am a fan of Asian food and despite that I had never tried Ramen, so it was my first choice when choosing, so I want to share with you the Unboxing and preparation of my first Ramen, those who have tried it know that it is a unique flavor and those who do not and have the possibility I say do not regret it.
Para los que no sepan el Ramen es un platillo que tiene como principal ingrediente un caldo cuya base puede ser desde huesos de cerdo hasta salsa de soja y fideos hechos a mano acompañados de distintos toppings.
For those who do not know the Ramen is a dish that has as main ingredient a broth whose base can be from pork bones to soy sauce and handmade noodles accompanied by different toppings.
Igualmente doy el reconocimiento a el restaurante “Ramen Kintaro” ubicado en Santiago de Chile por tan magnífica preparación.
I also give recognition to the restaurant "Ramen Kintaro" located in Santiago de Chile for such magnificent preparation.
Al momento de escoger la base del Ramen tarde bastante en elegir ya que al ser la primera vez no quería cometer errores, como somos dos (mi novia y yo) cada uno pidió un sabor diferente, ella seleccionó Shoyu Ramen cuyo caldo es a base de salsa de soja y yo pedí un Miso Ramen cuya base es pasta fermentada de soja.
At the moment of choosing the base of the Ramen it took me a long time to choose because I didn't want to make mistakes the first time, as there are two of us (my girlfriend and I) each one asked for a different flavor, she selected Shoyu Ramen whose broth is based on soy sauce and I asked for a Miso Ramen whose base is fermented soy paste.
La espera se hizo corta el delivery nos trajo el pedido en unos 20 minutos y como estaba muy emocionado al llegar lo primero que hice fue romper la bolsa y ver su contenido.
The wait was short, the delivery brought us the order in about 20 minutes and as I was very excited when I arrived the first thing I did was to break the bag and see its contents.
Todo venía muy bien empacado y separado ya que la experiencia es armar personalmente el platillo.
Everything came very well packed and separated as the experience is to personally assemble the dish.
Leyendo las instrucciones que te entrega el restaurante lo primero que hice fue calentar los caldos y reservar aparte.
Reading the instructions that the restaurant gives you, the first thing I did was to heat the broths and reserve separately.
En agua hirviendo cocine los fideos ya que vienen crudos por exactamente 2 minutos y 40 segundos, ya que así quedan al dente y es la mejor forma de comerlos para que no se sobre cocinen con lo caliente del caldo.
In boiling water cook the noodles as they come raw for exactly 2 minutes and 40 seconds, as this way they are al dente and it is the best way to eat them so they do not overcook with the hotness of the broth.
Aparte calente unos trozos de cerdo que vienen como topping cuyo nombre en japonés es “Chashu”.
Also, warm up some pork pieces that come as a topping whose name in Japanese is "Chashu".
Ahora sí viene lo interesante y es armar el plato, lo primero fue colocar los fideos recién hechos sobre el caldo caliente y remover bien para que se empapen de todo el sabor del caldo.
Now comes the interesting part and is to assemble the dish, the first thing was to place the freshly made noodles on top of the hot broth and stir well so that they soak up all the flavor of the broth.
Luego se comienzan a colocar los toppings, lo primero fue el “chashu”.
Then they start placing the toppings, the first thing was the "chashu".
Después el Ajitama que es un huevo hervido marinado.
Then the Ajitama which is a boiled marinated egg.
Por último los demás complementos que consisten en algas y mix de vegetales.
Finally the other complements that consist of algae and mix of vegetables.
Y el Ramen ya está listo para comer, de verdad que lo disfrute fue un sabor muy agradable que hizo alegrar mi paladar, al final no quedó nada en el plato.
And the Ramen is ready to eat, I really enjoyed it was a very pleasant taste that made my palate happy, at the end there was nothing left on the plate.
