Hola amigos de la colmena, feliz y bendecido día para todos. Hace poco participe en un iniciativa dónde debía subir 4 fotos y hablar de la historia detrás de estás.
Mientras buscaba las fotos que quería subir empecé a recordar lo mucho que me gustaba sentarme junto a mis abuelos a mirar los álbumes de fotos de cuando ellos estaban jóvenes, además de hacer otras actividades que solo hacia con ellos así que hoy quiero contarles:
Hello friends of the hive, happy and blessed day to all. I recently participated in an initiative where I had to upload 4 photos and talk about the story behind them.
While I was looking for the photos I wanted to upload I started to remember how much I liked to sit with my grandparents and look at their photo albums from when they were young, as well as doing other activities that I only did with them, so today I want to tell you about it:
Cosas que disfruté haciendo con mis abuelos. || Things I enjoyed doing with my grandparents.
Los abuelos son lo máximo, son los segundos padres pero más amorosos y consentidores, mis abuelos maternos se encargaron de cuidarme hasta que cumplí 9 años así que hay muchas cosas que disfruté solo con ellos.
Grandparents are the best, they are the second parents but more loving and pampering, my maternal grandparents took care of me until I was 9 years old so there are many things I enjoyed only with them.

Mis abuelos tenían un álbum grande y pesado de color marrón dónde habían montones de fotos y me contaba historias de cada una de cada una de ellas y allí pasábamos toda una tarde recordando su juventud y riendo de algunas que eran muy espontáneas pues en ese tiempo se usaban era rollos fotográficos y la gente salía totalmente natural en las fotos. Sus caras me daban mucha risa siempre, los podía ver una y otra vez y nunca me aburría.
My grandparents had a big and heavy brown album where there were lots of photos and he told me stories about each one of them and we spent a whole afternoon there remembering their youth and laughing at some of them which were very spontaneous because at that time they used to use film and people came out totally natural in the photos. Their faces always gave me a good laugh, I could see them over and over again and I never got bored.
- Reparar cosas || 2. Repairing things
Mi abuelo era mecánico y sabía arreglar de todo, por lo que se la pasaba inventado y haciendo siempre algo y yo era su ayudante, cada vez que tenía que hacer algo yo me sentaba a su lado para pasarle las herramientas que necesitaba y él me iba explicando lo que estaba haciendo, yo lo tomaba como un juego y cuando no podía acompañarlo porque era algo peligroso con electricidad me paraba a mirarlo desde lejos.
My grandfather was a mechanic and knew how to fix everything, so he was always inventing and doing something and I was his assistant, every time he had to do something I would sit next to him to pass him the tools he needed and he would explain to me what he was doing, I took it as a game and when I could not accompany him because it was something dangerous with electricity I would stand and watch him from afar.

Mi abuela como madre siempre trataba de que yo me alimentará bien, pero yo era de mal comer y no me gustaba casi nada, entonces cuando había algo que no me gustaba mi abuelo siempre siempre, me hacía tajadas con queso o tostones para que yo no dejará de comer, amaba eso.
My grandmother as a mother always tried to make me eat well, but I was a bad eater and I didn't like almost anything, so when there was something I didn't like, my grandfather always made me slices with cheese or tostones so that I wouldn't stop eating, I loved that.
- Ir a clases de natación. || 4. Go to swimming lessons.
Mi abuela me inscribió en natación cuando tenía 4 años por recomendación del médico que trataba mi asma y desde la primera clase hasta el último día que vivo junto a ella, nunca falte a una clase, a mi gustaba mucho ir y mi abuela siempre hizo lo necesario para que yo nunca faltará.🤗
My grandmother enrolled me in swimming when I was 4 years old on the recommendation of the doctor who was treating my asthma and from the first class until the last day I lived with her, I never missed a class, I really liked going and my grandmother always made sure that I never missed.🤗
- Ayudar a mi abuela en la bodega. || 5. Helping my grandmother in the bodega.
Mi abuela tenía una bodega, donde vendía de todo, como mi abuelo en las tardes era taxista cuando yo regresaba de la escuela ayudaba a mi abuela a atenderla y sobre todo a sacar las cuentas, pues mi abuela no sabia leer ni escribir, así que ella contaba conmigo cuando el abuelo no estaba y creo que nunca la defraudé, era muy pila desde niña con los números y cuando fui creciendo la enseñe a sumar en la calculadora.
My grandmother had a bodega, where she sold everything, as my grandfather was a cab driver in the afternoons when I returned from school I helped my grandmother to attend her and especially to do the accounts, because my grandmother could not read or write, so she counted on me when grandfather was not there and I think I never let her down, she was very good with numbers since she was a child and when I grew up I taught her to add on the calculator.
Los días al lado de mis queridos abuelos fueron únicos, me ensañaron lo que sabían y me dieron amor incondicional siempre, no tengo fotos de ellos porque están todas en Venezuela pero los recuerdo con mucho amor y alegría, ambos fueron pilares fundamentales en mi vida y estoy agradecida por tantos buenos momentos que me regalaron.

The days next to my beloved grandparents were unique, they taught me what they knew and gave me unconditional love always, I have no pictures of them because they are all in Venezuela but I remember them with much love and joy, both were fundamental pillars in my life and I am grateful for so many good moments they gave me.
