Kaiten Sushi - Conveyor Belt Sushi Place
It has been a really long time since I have been to a sushi restaurant. Swedish sushi is also delicious, but it is not an easy dish to eat because the price is about three times as expensive as sushi in Japan. In Japan, sushi is considered to be a casual meal, and I thought it was great that it was really cheap and delicious.
Sushi eaten in Sweden is usually tuna and salmon. Other than that, there is not much other sushi. Avocado, shrimp, cucumber, and that's about it.
In Japan, there are so many types of sushi. Tuna, salmon, salmon roe, sea urchin, hamachi, yellowtail, squid, octopus, sea bream, scallops, and more. Since I was back in Japan after all, I ate a lot of sushi that can only be found in Japan. I was very happy to have had hamachi for the first time in a long time!
Of course, the conveyor-belt sushi that is so familiar in Japan is still rare overseas, and this conveyor-belt sushi restaurant, which I had not been to in a long time, was a nostalgic experience.
A touch-screen monitor is installed on the seat where you sit, and you choose the sushi you like on that touch-screen. Then the sushi is brought to your seat on a conveyor belt, a system that is familiar to all Japanese people, and I thought again that it was interesting and entertaining in a way.
When my friends from Sweden visit Osaka, I would like to come back and eat at this sushi restaurant with them.
