So there’s this new gem place that just opened up near me called Takore Caffine Bar, and I’ve got to say… I’m kinda obsessed already.
I didn’t know what to expect when I first heard about it. I thought it was just another coffee shop popping up in the area, but turns out, it’s way more than that. It’s a hybrid of a coffee shop and a bar, which honestly feels like something we’ve been missing around here. It’s that perfect in-between place where you can start your day with coffee and end your night with a drink. Win-win.
The vibe when you walk in is super laid back but still has style. It’s not overly fancy or intimidating, just really well put together. The lighting’s warm, the music is just right (not too loud, not too sleepy), and it’s got a nice mix of seating, whether you’re flying solo, on a casual date, or catching up with friends. You can tell the place was thoughtfully designed to be comfortable without trying too hard.
Now let’s talk about the drinks.. which are really the highlight. I went for a couple of their cocktails, and each one was honestly better than the last. They’re not too sweet, not too strong, just that perfect balance where you can taste every ingredient. You can tell the bartenders actually know what they’re doing. I also tried one of their whiskeys (because why not?) and it was smooth, full of flavor, and served just right. Their selection isn’t huge, but it’s well-curated, which I actually prefer over a giant menu with average picks.
What surprised me most is how versatile the place is. In the morning, it’s a cozy spot to grab a coffee or get some work done. But once the sun sets, the place kind of transforms, it becomes more social, more alive, but still super relaxed. It’s not a loud bar with crowds and chaos. It’s the kind of spot where you can have actual conversations, unwind, and enjoy your drink without shouting over music.
The staff were also really friendly and welcoming. No pressure, no weird vibe, just people who seem genuinely happy to have you there. I even ended up chatting with the bartender for a bit about their cocktail recipes and how they came up with the menu, and you could really feel the passion behind it.
There’s no food on the menu (at least not yet), but honestly, it didn’t feel like anything was missing. The drinks are strong enough to carry the experience, and the atmosphere makes you want to stick around anyway.
Long story short... if you’re in the area and haven’t checked out Takore Caffine Bar yet, do yourself a favor and drop by. Whether you’re into coffee, cocktails, whiskey, or just looking for a new go-to chill spot, this one’s worth the visit. Already planning my next round there.
